  1. My husband and i were married since 2012 and he filed single. NOW that I am here in the US with him and have my SSN, we wanted to file married filing jointly. How can we change the previous filed taxes (2012&2013) and if there's a link we can go for a step to step guide or requirements to amend it. Would it get us in trouble for doing it just now? Do we get better refunds on amending it? Thanks vjers!

  2. No.. Its confidential.. But if they said you can have your vaccination on the next day then it means you can proceed to the interview date scheduled.. If they tell you to undergo sputum test, then theres something they need to check further on your xray result. It might cause a delay

  3. Hi everyone.. I arrived in the U. S. LAST SEPTEMBER 16..How long would it normally takes before i get my SSN. ive known someone have get it within 5 days.. Thanks!

  4. We use rapid and they are legit. But also you need to do some extra research on your own to make things easier. Paperworks we dont have any problem cause they prepare it for us. If you think your situation is not complicated and dont need legal matters then no need to have an attorney.

  5. Does anyone have problems when making the USCIS Elis account? I forgot my password and when i try to retrieve it, it asked me 3 questions which as far as i remember i give the correct answers. I only have 3 attempts and i used it all up! It says its blocked. What will i do now? Would creating a new account will help that up using a different email? Is there a possible way to still use the previous email? By the way, I never received a confirmation that my account was activated when i make it the other day. When i try to log in today, i cant get through. Anyone with same experience?

  6. My husband uses married filing jointly for his 2013 tax. At nvc stage he submit w2 and itr even though i dont have itin. Along the way it wasnt processed and he was advised to refile and he will use single instead. I bring the 2013 transcript(single) incase i would be questioned. during interview the CO never even asked about it regarding that. No documents asked. Just a 1-2 minutes interview. I have known many who uses single and never had any problems. You have lots of evidence to show that your relationship is real. So it wont be any worries. They are more particular if your petitioners income can support you.

  7. Getting a work visa in the usa is not an easy way. Even if she is a license nurse in the e philippines, it doesnt mean she can work there in usa. She should pass an nclex rn to enable to qualify as a nurse in your country. Working visa slots is limited. Also she should have her school documents like transcripts rle be evaluated by cgfns to ensure her nursing education is qualified or in equivalent to the nursing education in your country. Its not a fast way. And it takes a lot of money for the process and time consuming. If u want her to be there asap then fike for k1 but u shoukd marry her within 90 days and file for aos so that she can have her greencard and ssn. Thats the time she can able to work.

  8. Hi everybody just wondering after my wife gets her case number what can she get done before she reachs the embassy stage of her journey like medical, CFO, thanks in advance just trying to stay ahead

Yes..she can do medical in advance as long she had her case number already from NVC. With, CFO she can do that also to obtain a certificate, however she needs to go back to get the cfo sticker once the visa is on hand. That is needed before she can go to the USA.
