  1. hamigirl710 Thanks a lot for replying back i don't like to be misunderstood behind a screen because people start attack you from all corners and it's hard to make people understand something from a specific point of view we all think differently but i didn't mean any harm when i mentioned the Crapy English comment, im realy sorry if i offended anybody in this forum but people got it the wrong way im not trying to be above anybody or speeding up my case on other ppls expense NO, i've had precious advices and help from this forum along the way and i apreciate it. But people can be really harsh sometimes telling me i neglected my son and that's probably why the US is looking into my husbands name ?? how is that even relevant to my case. we should stick to the subject and never forget that we are here just to give friendly advice and get help from ppl that been through this, we all drinking from the same cup and we are all waiting.

  2. wife_of_mahmoud Not at all it was not an offence the only issue is when she asked me to go back to the states and go to school that was uncalled for, other than that im fine being mistaken for a Moroccan Lol im from New Mexico and i know exactly what you mean ;):)

and people thought i was rude for saying i am a us citizen i said that spontaniously just because i don't wanna be cut up with people that are being interviewed that's all.

  3. destiny64 you don't have to be sympathetic. since when sharing a BAD experience is negativity.and that IM the US Citizen attitude thing, is because of my brown skin made her think that im Moroccan and i corrected her with no ATTITUDE,, go back and read again what she said to me for being here with my husband all this time. and for the record my journey is not that fast as you think i just didn't get a lot of checklist letters and got put behind for sending the wrong forms but i waisted 4 months on a sponsor +44 days to get an interview date so yes i had to do some waiting.

  4. wife_of_mahmoud the links are really helpfull thank you so much again .

hamigirl710 Girl take it easy im not putting anybody down im carrying so much in my burden already,, all im saying is how frustrated this process on me and the US consulate SOMETIMES approve the wrong and deny the right people. we are not playing here whos got the best husband Lol. im sorry if you misunderstood my post but as other people said every case is different and 5 years or 3 years of marriage does not make us an immigration experts.. we are here to get informations and to share our visa journies weather it's good or bad. PLEASE don't get me wrong AGAIN.;)

  5. Everybody thanks a lot for the feedback

RFQ it seems like all the MENA countries are going through the same, but still even with a clean record you get an AP my husband is the same . i don't get it either i thought the checks are USCIS which took them 6 months the only question is WHY again. Thanks for the response and the Link, it means a lot.

oohpartiv Thanks for the response im glad someone is feeling what im going though, i hope you hear something good soon too.

wife_of_mahmoud Thank you, you guys comments put an ease to my dilemma.

zahrasalem 12 weeks :) if that's gonna be my case then im lucky i just don't want to be here an other year just for an AP. im glad your husband got the call , thank you for the precious thoughts.

momof1 yeah all MENA countries are the same and third world of south america and eastern europe. you are right about that second part they have no doubt about the validity of my marriage but im just scared of being here another 9 or 12 months.. i apreciate the feedback thank you :)

yahya_marie Ohh im sorry for you guys going through all that but being denied a K1 and a CR1 is mostly RED FLAGS but im happy you guys made it through :)

hamigirl710 im not insulting other spouces all im saying is what i have on the table, which is a bonafide marriage and an elegible husband to fitin' with the american society. other than that you are right im glad it was not sent back, im just worried and missing my son.

  6. I posted a lot of negativity recently but i can not help it, im happy for people that got approved but the amount of evidence i have and the time i spent with my husband and HIS family all together my case should not be put on AP so the update is the following :

My husband had a (4min) interview April 2nd 2013, was asked 4 questions which he answered correctly and he was put under AP.

I e-mailed the us consulate in casablanca they didn't give me anything except we need some time.

I ask to speak to someone with more authority and all they say is call again tomorrow from 2 to 4 PM.

I call them they hang up on me or they say it's under AP, ''WHY ? '' no answer .

now that's the important part i made an appoinment last week and i went there tuesday of this week,i got in at 11 am y'all knows the procedures some MOroccan lady in her late 40's looked at me and said this is the US citizen only go to the Moroccan side ''im like what ??, I AM AMERICAN '' maybe my LATINO look made her think im Moroccan but anyways,, she was the rudest creature ever she told me we can't answer that and asked me to go back to my family or school and im like ''my family is here in Morocco with my husband''. After that an American guy steped in and he was a gentleman, i gave him the case number and he checked it all and noticed that i've been here since SEPT then he said ''WASHINGTON is running some more background checks and as soon as we hear from them we are gonna contact your husband'' as soon as one case is done an other one moves up,, i don't know how backed up they are but this Casablanca consulate is a JOKE they are approving k1 like within a min even if the fiance was in morocco just for a couple of weeks but when it comes to marriage it's a whole different senario,, our lives depends on this we've got no time to waist,, we need to move on with our lives. Everything is in order paper work, marriage, evidence every single thing but the delays are not right. and the funny thing is he is not one of those spouces with crapy English that get stuck during an interview.he is a college student with good English BUT STILL they need to put his case under AP .

well that's it folks my story with the US consulate in Casablanca.

  7. ok so I went to the USCIS page to check My Case Status

    and its said this

    Post Decision Activity

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

    What does that Mean ????

Im so Confessed and worryed about my hubby visa Status

  8. WOW ok Thanks - we were taking about me going back but i would go to Ceuta not Spain like last time

Going to Spain it cost 540 Dhr + the hotel and food - I got in and out Fine - the link you sent me about Ceuta thats Scary -

I was thinking about asking for Residence But I did Not want to Show Up with an expired passport :bonk:

  9. Hello again VJ members, i've been here since SEPT 2012 and i stamped my passport in DEC 2012 in Spain in order to get an extra 90 days, now i over stayed my visit because i thought that my husband was gonna get approved in APRIL 2nd 2013 so we would leave to the US together but he was put under AP. the question is should i go ahead and get an other 90 days or it's ok to stay and just wait for the visa to get approved..because it's just a matter of time i called the us consulate today and i requested to speak to an officer and he told me everything is fine, we have all the documents needed and your case is only under review it won't be sent back to the USCIS or the NVC.

  10. Golden Gate Thank you i hope that's the case for my husband at least hearing from them would make me stop freaking out my last visit lasted longer then i expected i've been here Since SEPT 2012 and i can't wait to go home i miss my son so bad Caming up with my Family just making things worst on us,, i really hope we hear from them and thenk you again for the kind words.

Crossed_fingers im afriad not everything i sent was paper work they asked for and no my attorney had no experience with and she told me that before we started on the case but she's a family friend and my dad picked her up before he passed away in JULY 2012which means he had faith on her and everything went good with the USCIS and the NVC except when the NVC sent me a checklist asking for 2 pictures, police and court record because they got expired already.

I read other people Got AP for 62 days (MIBEN)she answered somebodys post and i came across it i just hope that won't my case because most of MENAs applicants that have recieved an AP were handed a 221g by the CO which is not our case.

his name starts with ABDEL like any other ARABIC COMMON name do you think that this could be it ?? HIS NAME ???

  11. you're welcome im here to help and share my experience

about the evidence i hired an attourney that did my paper wrok with the USCIS and the NVC . i was told not to submit any of it untill the interview,so everything went smooth with the USCIS and the NVC even without me submitting any evidence. My husband had the following with him but the CO didn't ask for anything even though he offered :

My passport ( dates of entries )

an album of more than 100 pics even though i have more than 3000 in my FB page lol my husband is an amateur photographer so we take a lot of pics anywhere we go.

almost 90 reciepts from groceries, places we've been to ,drs office, post office,,Fedex, western union etc etc

Letters we've exchanged b4 i came here to Morocco

Flights, chat logs,, my sons child support papers.....

But the CO had other things to look at i guess which we have no idea what exactly they are looking for all those red flags about age or lack of visits or crapy English is not in my case .

  12. Hello VJ members,

due gto my Dilemma with MY US GOV i thought i'd post my husbands interview i know it's a lil late for that but it might help people that are still waiting in line.

Me and my husband and his Dad Got there at 7:00 am because we live 2 hours away from Casa so we had to drive a lil early. People started getting in a line infront of the US Consulate at 7: 30 the (G4S) started separating Visa gategories by Immigrants on one side and non immigrants on an other side. Get there Appoinment Sheets and passport check em with a metal detector etc. after a few min my husband got in to a window where he handed his passport and 2 pics and the appoinment letter and got inside. A second security check had to take off his jacket and his belt even though all he had is a binder full of evidence and an album which the CO didn't ask for any of it.

went through an other door to the waiting area with the other applicants,, sit there for 30 min got called by a Moroccan lady that asked him the following :

-have you ever been outside Morocco

-give me the medical exam ( hand him back the X-rays without even looking at em) so what's the point from getting it in the first place.

    - Give me your phone number ( and that's when he knew that he was not gonna get approved that day, why would they ask for a phone number if he 's gonna get approved)

_ asked him to go sit down and wait for his name to be called for a second time

After almost an hour h got called again the lady was an american caucasion lady in her late 20's maybe brown hair, pony tail and glaces, asked him to swear under oath and so he did and start with the questions right away :

How did you two meet ?

when was her 1st,2nd,3rd visit ?

asked him about my kid and who is taking care of him

If i ever brought my son with me ?

Did we get married on my 1st visit ?

He answered all the questions with tiny specific details, she was nice to him and he said everytime he would answer a question she would look at him and not interrupt him at all, and besides that his English is good, fluent and he doesn't have an accent in my american opinion lol i wouldn't tell that he is not an American, my family and americans we've met in Morocco are impressed by his English. Besides he took English Studies in college so i guess that says it all. Back to the CO Lol she said ''ok im gonna give you back your passport and your marriage Certificate(the originalone)we need sometime for AP, i have your number i will call you to come pick up your visa.'''' didn't Say anything about a red flag or your marriage is not a bonafide one or any of that .

We are both 24 years old and we've a lot of incomings we did everything by the book and i spent 366 days so far, my last visit lasted from SEPT 16 2012 untill today and im still here..our visa journey took more than i ever expected i have a son to go back to but the us consulate makes no sense sometimes,,approving the wrong people and denying the right ones ... i just wanted to get this over with and start a new life already.

I don't know what was the AP all about he didn't even get that famous 221g.

  13. the co kept sveta's passport during interview then placed her in ap

yes the same for My hubby he was placed on AP and did not recieve the Famous 221g, she gave him his passport and the Original marrige certificate and said we're gonna call you to come and pick up your visa ,,,im just worried about how long it's gonna take them to call us knowing that AP according to DOS takes 60 days
