I met my husband phillip online in january of 2011. The site was called imvu. It's a site where you are a virtual person. something just told me to reach out say hello. from that day we talked everyday faithfully. We moved to Yahoo video chat to skype and then talking on the phone. we got closer and closer. In October of 2011 i took my first trip to Jamaica. i saw phillip for the first time. I was soooooooooo nervous. he put me at ease. I had a great time with him. I felt like I had known him my whole life. We talked and laughed and he taught me about his home land. I visted two more time. i stayed for a week in december of 2011 and he cooked for me. Yummy he is an excellent cook. This might seem pretty sudden, but at some point I realized I had met the love of my life. On my third trip in May of 2012 we married in a intimate ceremony. That was the happiest day of my life. Thats our story in a nutshell and now the journey begins of bringing my husband to the united states.
Wow! Have you contacted your senator's office? Mine was approved 5/10/13 and the end of June I contacted my Sentator's office to check into the status. Once they did, my case was transferred to NVC witin a week. Best of Luck to You!
Yes I contacted my local congressman and the senator with my state. I also filed a complaint with the uscis ombudsman. I have an appointment on Monday at the local Atlanta office.I hope things get moving soon.
