So here my story , I passed my interview  23rd February  at saint paul office MN ,   the IO  gave me form 652 , and it says on that form i passed my civic test and at the bottom it says recommended for approval  , before i left i  asked her should i wait for ceremony letter soon  ?   she answered me if  they dont need more documents from you   yes  but if they need RFE  you will receive letter  saying  that  ,  till today we are on 9/3/2017  still no  response and my online status never change ( interview was  scheduled ) i called twice  800# and they keep telling me i have to wait 90 days 

PS: at the interview i made mistake instead of telling the officer i had traffic written warning i said verbal warning , should i be worry or is there any one who had the same issue ?

First CAN you tell me what typ of Visa did u aply for?? Is ur visa status case shows AP too.. How was ur interview date and wich CO did u face

Thanks! What do you mean by having my petition come there?. I will most definitely go to Algeria if there is a second interview for my fiance. Not sure this is allowed?. Tell me about your friend's experience? How long in AP, if any please? My petition is at the Algiers Consulate. We are just waiting on either an email or call.. praying

after when they put him under AP his wife came here and went to embassy without interview and they had her have interview he is not being on line recently ....thats why i dont have more details about his case ......and have faith and what was the reason for AP ?

im sorry to hear it takes long but i think you need ur petition come to the embassy and try to have interview there i have friend who did that recently and it realy works with him hope that will not happend to me mt interview is soon

i think you have to go to algeria and attend for interview i think that will work

The embassy in Algiers has asked for form DS-156 to be emailed to them before the interview. I can't figure out how to email it. Does anyone know how to email it? Please provide me instructions if you know how. If I can't email it does anyone know if the embassy in Algiers will accept a copy if my fiance drops it off, or mails it? Thank you for your advice

PS - the I-864 and the DS-3032 are two different things.

You need both, but the beneficiary must send in the DS-3032 ASAP (email is the fastest method) or else you will not be invoiced (aka "billed") for the IV invoice. The IV invoice must be paid before the NVC will look at the DS-230 which is the visa application.

You do not include the petitioner in the count for the co-sponsor. He counts himself, any dependents he may have, his own spouse and the beneficiary.

Nope. If you're the beneficiary, you don't have to fill out an I-864, so it's only your spouse's finances they'll take into account, along with whatever cosponsor you choose to include.

If the cosponsor's household is 3, the required income has to be 23,862$, so yes, 24,000$ would be enough.

hello all Vj members .we are preparing to send I-864 DS3032...im just wondering ..about bank saved money..is that necessary...in our case knowing my co-sponsor dont have saved account ...and his income is over 24000.00 $ per year ....or that is enough to sponsor me...knowing living in same house with my wife ?....that mean we are 3 persons

isnt weird i got approved last 20 fabury no thing from vcs till now ...what makes me nervouse ive seen allmost ppls who got thier approval they recived thier vsc "#? what make it soo long

congrats.........i got approved last 20 febury 2013 but ,no visa number till today i just called them they said call again next week are we in the same worries took long time just tfor have our visa number dont you think so ...?

me too i filed last december and got approved feb 11 waitnig for visa number

i got approved 20 febury wish good luck for ou all.....it took me 81 days have faith and every body will get his approval asap

There have been some, but very few Dec approvals. As of now, they have approved about 5% of all mid Dec I130 petitions.

When I had my I-130 approved, they send me the NOA and a letter from the NVC that the case had been transferred. But it took about 3-4 weeks before you get it from the NVC.
