  1. You can expedite at the NVC but you also need to have a valid reason to do so, just being outside the 30 business days isn't a valid reason. (Remember it's business days, do not count weekends or any US holidays.) If your spouse was in danger or in need of urgent medical care they couldn't get in their home country or the USC is deploying, then you could try for an expedite.

I just gave birth to our first child will that be sufficient reason and im by myself

How far in the process are you? Are you still just waiting for them to close your case?

    _CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTIONS:_________________________________

When responding to the National Visa Center, please include the bar code sheet that came with this letter. Failure to include the bar code sheet may cause a delay in the processing of your case. The bar code sheet should be placed on top of all documents being submitted for this case and mailed to the address provided.

    ______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

All traveling immigrant visa applicants on your case are required to complete and submit the DS-260 Online Immigrant Visa Application. The DS-260 Online Immigrant Visa Application replaces the paper-based DS-230 Immigrant Visa Application. The DS-260 must be completed when NVC is still missing documents or information to complete your case. You must complete the DS-260 in order to be eligible for a visa interview.

You will find instructions for submitting the required forms and supporting civil documents at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_5164.html.

Please note the applicant will need the following information to access and complete the DS-260:

    NVC case number

    Invoice identification number

Beneficiary identification number for each traveling applicant

If you are unsure of, or no longer have, the required identification numbers please contact the NVC by email at nvcinquiry@state.gov or by telephone at 603-334-0700 and we will provide them to you.

To avoid delaying your visa(s) we urge you to send the required supporting civil documents, for all applicants, together in a single submission as soon as possible after submitting the DS-260.

Your case may be involved with paperless processes for submitting forms and documents. At this time, the availability of paperless processing is limited to selected U.S. Embassies and Consulates. A list of participating Embassies and Consulates can be found at http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_5165.html.

  6. i had been waiting for a case complete since the 21st if august, today i call and they tell me both my ds230 and affidavit were ok but that I was going to have to submit ds260.I already did so online as for those who had already submitted ds230 just has too fill u the information,my question is has this happened to anyone else?if yes how long is it taking for them to reiew ds260 knowing they already review the ds230 and affidavit?

  7. Yes, it means you have a chance.

Each expedite request is unique, although there are common 'things' about each expedite request.

One of the common things, is to follow the instructions given to you, by NVC or the Embassy, exactly.

I submitted it two daya ago yesterday i called the bvc and they said hey sent it to the embassy today i called again and they said the embassy requested additinal documents which they sent to them immediately, what could hey have asked for?is this common?does it mean anyhing?
