Yes, our RFE was on the correct spelling of Elena's name. She was born in 1979 in the Ukraine...which was Russia at the time. Now/since 1991 all her documents are in Ukraine language,...her name in Ukraine is Olena. They want proof, Olena is Elena. God help us.......

I'm flying to Odessa on May 3. God I will be glad to be back in the Ukraine and see my Elena. We plan to train up to Kiev, Train to Lviv and taxi to Pocheai, then train back to Odessa. Should be fun )))

Be patient, be positive, if their is a issue. They will let you know)))

April 23,2013. We got a RFE, at least our papers are being worked now !! We will see what the problem is when I recieve a letter from USCIS.

Mark, to be totally honest. With as much paperwork we all must send to USCIS,..how would one not make a mistake or forget something. I sent totally about 75-100 pages to USCIS,..their necessary paperwork, flight iteraery, restraunt reciepts, anything to show I was in Odessa. It was crazy what I sent in !!!

I feel the same way Mark. I was shocked about a RFE, after so long of a wait. But yes, at least it has been touched. I am waiting for the letter to inform me of the issue. We shall see ))

Thanks for the support,...I bet things will get very loud in Odessa))). To be honest Scott,....I miss and Love Elena alot. But Elena and my 6 year old daughter Vanessa, already have a special bond. They need each other a great deal also. CSC truely has no idea how important this process is to many here.

I am so happy for Scott, he and Anna had waited far to long for their NOA2. I hope the rest of his and Anna's process goes well. Hopefully, the rest of us will get our good news quickly. Good luck!!)))

My dear, to be honest,....the is not a lot of good things to say about this K1 process. Currently, after observing others information here on VJ. The process seems out of the norm slow. Currently, very unfair, with all the Dec/2012 filers getting approved ahead of July/Aug/Sept/Oct/2012 NOA1's. This process will test your love and commitment for your lady greatly. Maybe this is a good test...
