    17 months in AP , Sent fresh documents and our case updated 3 days in a row. Now nothing for 7 days .

      Hi Grace Sorry I didn't see this post.. No I haven't heard anything I called Dept. of State and they said all the submitted docs were good and updated and case is still pending under AP in Islamabad. last update was 8 Oct. How about you guys did your spouse resubmit new docs?

      Why did you submit the new medical ? Did they request it , or did u do it on your own? My fiance's interview was Oct 25th 2012

    11 months of AP now , but I feel hopeful because Ive seen a couple approvals recently after long waits in AP.

      I think our interview dates were very close to each other its been nine months and two week for us with nothing. Best of luck I pray to Allah that Fall brings good news towards everyone's way.

    No more updates , just standing still now . The 25th of this month makes 6 months of AP , we will have out congressman write and ask what is going on at the 6 month mark

    My case status has been updating daily on the CEAC website . Im hoping this means an approval is coming soon. inshALLAH

      together4never13 , The updates are on their own. No congressman, no phone calls, no emails. That is why I am hopeful.

      Syed... Yes he speaks highly of you. When he finally enters the US we will all meet for dinner and spend some time together.

    I called the Department of State to check the status on my case on January 29th 2012. I was informed my case was pending and the embassy was waiting for me to return requested information. I was so aggravated by this , considering I have sent them EVERYTHING they asked for ,and havent received any email or post asking for additional information. At this point I contacted the US embassy in Islamabad to inquire what documents they are waiting for . They responded by email, that case is AP ,They...

      This whole process is crazy and its tearing so many lives apart. I cant believe they make you jump threw so many hoops and wait so long for a 3 month visa - this is crazy

    I sent in my paystubs , deed to my house , property tax assessment, and my bank account information. Within 24 hours the embassy responded by email that they had received the information and would contact me when processing on the case was complete. Im taking this as a good sign because they have never responded to information I have sent in the past .

      After calling the DOS on January 23rd , they said all documents are received however, we are in AP. I am hoping that means they have accepted my financial information and now are just waiting for name checks or security issues .

    I believe they are just playing games with me at this point. There requests are ridiculous, and I have involved my congressman.

      what are they requests? and which congressman you have involved now. some time it is good idea to also contact your other congressman or woman.

      They requested additional information from my joint sponsor and after I sent it they replied " Thank you for sending the information but we do not accept co-sponsors for K1 visa". Then they requested my w2 from 2011, even though I have informed them multiple times I was a student in 2011 and did not have a w2 . Congressman Larry Buschon is working on my case now .

    Sent the information which was requested at the interview on October 15th to the embassy in Islamabad by courier today.

    Well I found a job which I start Thursday , and I will submit the information along with the co sponsors information and hope for the best.

    Confused as to why they say they accept co-sponsors for K1 visa - and then they change their mind when you arrive at the interview.

      Do provide them the thing they are asking you to save your precious time. How is he, he was the first one to whom I talked out there. He is a very nice guy indeed. He asked me to wait for him outside, but I couldn't as I had to travel back for 5 hours.
