Hi sorry i haven't been on here in awhile and just noticed your comment. While i was in Morocco we opened a joint bank account with Banque Populaire. I was just able to show my passport and proof of marriage certificate. My husbands name was first and was the only one to get a atm card because he is a citizen. Other than that i had no problems. Have a good day
