Sept 13,13 had interview couldnt prove bonafide relationship was put in AR.....Nov 14, 13 NVC status says in AP....Nov 18, 13 received letter saying petition has expired....Nov 21, 13 received letter stating USCIS received file and we are in AP and they will get in touch with me by May 21, 14....USCIS status then changed to Initial review. Filed a FOIA and got a response they couldnt release our records cause Solomon has to sign a release waver lol...If anyone can make any sense out of any o...

Im so sorry to hear that you werent approved...Ive been told there isnt any hope they will let it expire...Lagos consulate told us to refile or get married in Lagos....So im off to Lagos in feb to become Mrs Solomon legally...lol Your love will prevail keep your head high and Jump thru the govt hoops that is all you can do ....

Im trying to get money together to go see him before christmas not just to satisfy the govt but because We really need to see each other....whats crazy its so important i meet his family but he isnt even allowed to see mine....really messed up

thank you ..... we had a religious wedding in South Africa on that date which wasnt legal in the US so we had to file K-1 fiance and get married again .... The hoops the govt makes you jump thru!!!!! We will just celebrate our marriage twice a year lol

CSC approval for K-1 fiance visa....now we are off to NVC for forwarding to American Embassy in Nigeria for Interview.

Its about time congratulations long time coming.....

Mine took about 1 week for the hard copy but I got the email in I believe 2 days..... but they cashed the check within 48 hours....lol.... hope this helps

Yes we are at 4 months now but I feel it will take alot longer than 5 1/2 months the waiting and not knowing is the hardest part
