Passed interview today. Only asked 6 civics questions and 3 yes/no questions about the application.
In line for oath ceremony
-
Interview date 1/25 for the spreadsheet.
Interview letter received 12/19 (got email/text notification 12/16)
-
this one: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ ?
yea that's it. i figured the notice would show up in there, but nope.
I guess you can update my "in line" on the spreadsheet.
Received email/text message today 12/16, uscis case status says "on 12/15 we scheduled an interview for your form n-400"
-
Just got the interview email, don't know what the date is.. have to figure out how to log back into that site that has all of the documents. don't even remember what that site is (not the USCIS account, the new one that you can get all of your notices off of)

So, as I was saying in my original post...

Also we got on IOE number, using (I suppose) the latest form that was on the USCIS website.

I thought I had entered my info here, but I guess not. Just scrolled through 19 pages and couldn't find my post.

Probably a conspiracy theory, but I've been told that they're rushing cases because of the upcoming election. Anyone else hear anything about this? I wouldn't keep my hopes up, but anyway...
My wife's friend sent in their N400 package a few months ago and it took about 2 months before they scheduled biometrics.
Our biometrics was scheduled 2 days after they received our package in the mail..
maybe I should just check the immigration timeline stats on here...

Your application went to an acceptance facility.
It was then processed and sent to a central facility.
It will then be sent to your local field office.
That's where your interview will be scheduled and that's when they'll need your photographs.
Sending them now or taking them with you to biometrics won't be of any use in my opinion, because it is unlikely that they will end up with your application. In most, but not all cases, biometrics appointments are at a third party Application Support Center, and not a USCIS office; they have no way of getting your photos to USCIS.
If you do send them now or take them to your biometrics appointment, make sure you take a second set to the interview.
Thanks. I already mailed them in with reference to the case # and alien registration #. We have plenty of extras so, will bring them on the biometrics + interview. Thanks again ~

Yup I read it and had everything put together, then realized they were still on the desk when I got home from the post office. That's why I was asking if I should just send them in separately with an explanation and a reference to the case number and alien registration number.
btw, thanks for your incredible input.
I'll probably just send them in now as I just mentioned rather than wait for biometrics.
-
Makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

Just sent in our package, got accepted and Biometrics scheduled already (don't know the date yet), but forgot to send in the 2 passport photos with the package. I don't want to wait for an RFE. Should we send them to the same address we sent the package to, or wait till we get our first acceptance notice in the mail?
-
forgot to mention that our green card arrived in the mail after only like 4 or 5 business days after getting approved
-
Funny thing is, I think I only sent in 1 years tax return, and it was just a TurboTax printout with no W2's included. Also, I think I only sent in 1 bank statement for each of my 3 accounts
No case inquiry.

Case approved 10/2!!!

Well my NOA1 is March 5, which is outside of the "6 month processing time". Tried to submit an online case inquiry, and it says i'm still within the time frame... I'll have to try calling on Friday.
-
I got 2 numbers also. the one that works status check is for "form cr-89" I believe..
The other number is for form "I-751", doesn't work on status checker. However, if I want to submit a case inquiry, I have to use this number. The one for the CR-89 doesn't work for case inquiry requests.
Confusing.
As far as your case number showing as in I-129.. i'd call and get it straightened out.
-
oh #######.. that could mean they might be working on my case any day now..
-
Maybe you're using the wrong case number on the USCIS website?
I know on my Biometrics letter, there are 2 case numbers on it. Only 1 works on the case status checker on USCIS website. Assuming you still have the biometrics letter, check it...

Hello,
spn1025
Did you submit an inquiry? My application is due after week.
Please give me feedback.
sorry, not yet, been busy.. i'll try it this friday

You're required to have insurance now.
And as far as "health and dental assistance", I would think that would fall into the category of government assistance, which you're technically not supposed to get.. although under today's administration, who the hell knows if they follow up on any of that #######. Seems they're encouraging anything and everything to be on some sort of government assistance these days.
If they can give illegal aliens government assistance, I doubt they're gonna give any legal immigrants any problems for government assistance. In no way am I promoting it or encouraging it, just stating that that's the way this administration seems to be running stuff.
-
well, my NOA1 date is March 5.. since it says 6 months (that would be anything before March 17th), can I submit an inquiry now?
