  1. yes we do have both my address and his address here and his driving licence has the address here. so than what should my boss say? something like: the job comes with housing included and the husband used to work for the company also so there was no problem of both of them living on site. should he say: I testimony that they live here together or something like that?

I tried to find an example online but I could not find anything

and thank you both for your answers! :)

  2. Hello everyone!

I am getting ready to submit my paperwork for removing conditions. one step closer to the end of immigration process. :joy:

Anyway I need your guys help and opinion because we have a different situation.

I work for a company that is a concessionary in a state park and my job offers me housing on site. my husband works in a town nearby for the post office. he used to be employee of the company also and so they left us still leave on site together even if he doesn't work here anymore.

so because of these we have no literally signed lease, I do have a work contract saying that the job offers housing and such but that is the extend of the paperwork I have.

Now the vice president of the company is willing to help me and write a letter/note saying that we live together and he was the one that approved that but I am not sure how that letter should sound.

Now I am guessing there have been couples living with parents that own houses and did not had a lease sign or so maybe we can go in the same idea, same situation.

so could you please tell me what my boss should write in that letter? and also is there gonna be a real problem in our case because of this situation?

    I really appreciate any help!

  3. I would advise you on K1. at this point the process is not that long and u guys can be together while waiting for green card. with CR1 the process is longer as it has the green card process included. but that is just me.

we choosed K1 because now while waiting for green card we are together!

good luck and a lot of patience no matter what u choose is important that by the end u will be together

  4. Hi guys!

i was wondering maybe one of you had to deal with a similar situation and maybe can give me an idea how long i still have to wait.

i got approved on EAD on dec 23 and after 2 weeks i still not got the card in the mail . so i called them on jan 7, and they said that they got the card back from the post office saying it was undelivreble.

i did not change my adress ,the problem was that the day the card came it was a different mail man that had no idea i live here ( the usual man knows ) and because i did not had my last name on the mail box he did not put it in.

so tomorrow is gonna be a week since i let uscis know that there was a messed up with the post office and i was wondering if someone has an idea how long is gonna take now for them to mail it again,

    this waiting sucks!

    thank you guys!
