Hi windscry- he got his passport the very next day. It's been 2 month & 4 days since he sent his results and his passport. As on now, he still not have his Visa ( seems the wait is not over. Don't know what's going on

Hi! that particular statement wasn't clarified. I took it as: we are a k1 visa & we have a sincere relationship. I really didn't "feel" anything other than that from it. My fiancé immediately released his fear of the horrible AP wait time nightmare. So it seemed nothing other than that & the CO stated we have a sincere relationship. It seemed he referred to his own statement.

Hi I do watch the embassy schedule page...unfortunately, they really don't keep it up to date and sometimes the email to request that they update sends me deliverable messages. It seems to be working again though.

Then, to top it off. January is a month in our favor as far as wait times. It has I think 7 holidays with American & Egyptian. Plus the weekends and also they have several days they've been closing due to "demontrations" ( Fingers crossed things will start rolling again in February!

I'v been watching interview wait times. I have found it to b consistent that ppl hear back from the cairo embassy approx 2 full months after they rcvd packet #3. Then, the interview is approx 1 month after that.

I read somewhere that they were notifying ppl in that manner...but I also read the most recent form of notification is via mail. Do you know if the email/phone is the most recent? Thanks!

Congrats!! One more step closer...keep hanging in there, it seems to take about 1.5 months to hear back from them about when the interview date is. Less holidays in February though..January has been FULL of holidays (days off)!
