  1. Why are you do scared he will be denied entry? I don't know your reason behind that negative feeling but try to be positive.

No one succeeds in any type of undertaking without confidence and positive thought.

I came through JFK and connect to atl and I was able to call my wife in a business center there at the airport an also called her back on a pay booth.

  2. German embassy cannot answer your questions, you address the foreign representative of the country you want to immigrate to,in your case you have to contact the USA embassy in Germany or visit their website and see the guidelines pertaining immigrant visa and all FAQ.

And if they are planning to marry in Germany, they have to check with the appropriate body responsible for marriages * resident citizen and non citizen option.

A1 is only if you want to immigrate to Germany.i took that years ago.

  3. Go to the nearest ssn office and apply for new one.they will eventually scan your green card and check if any other office issued you a ssn card.if not they will register you and you will get it in 10 days.

Most of the time talking to them on the phone doesn't really help.

  4. The embassy have seen thousand of authentic marriage certificates and divorce decrees so they are best in noticing the phony ones.

You are caught up in your own mess and you can try an immigration attorney for solutions. It will be hard to DIY and your USC wife could be entangled in all this and cause further problems.

  5. Man,I cannot really catch your train of thought...it doesn't really matter do let play around what dish you are providing.

She came on a vwp and get married....she applied for green card but did not attend the interview because she went on a vacation ....then what happened to that marriage ?

You said she left and came back 10 days and she got married for 5 yrs...did she apply for for her green card?what happened?

She travelled out and now back to usa she was detained by ICE and you are trying to buy time by filing for asylum on a phobia ground so you both can get married? Dude, really?

Well there is lot to your story ...

  6. You ain't gonna have any problem .you will still be issued the cr1 visa but wen you are admired on USA soil your status will change to ir1.ir1 because you are admitted after 2 yrs of marriage.

You ain't gonna pay no visa fees, the only thing you might be asked to present is more current police report if you have not yet submitted any current one.

  7. Hi

These days they have e verify that help them issue government document to only legal resident therefore they are insisting you have your alien resident card in hand before you can be attended to.May be in some instance they will work with you if you have the approval notice.

I sent my error GC to uscis and went in to get my license,I showed the approval notice but they told me they need to have he card and e verify it but hey try with the approval and see what happen.

  8. Hi there

The embassy cannot change your visa category.if you started the process with cr you will be issued cr visa.when you are admired on USA soil you can be granted residence on ir because you qualify for it. I came with cr visa and was given 2 yrs and sent it back and got 10 yrs since I was admitted after 2 yrs of marriage.so you will have to tell the officer at the port if entry that you qualify for ir because he is going to stamp you cr for 2 yrs.i failed to do that at the port of entry but I corrected the mistake

And after admission in USA you need to stay married to your wife for 3 yrs minus 90 days to qualify for naturalization. Also you need to keep your residency consistently meaning you cannot stay much away from USA.if you do it must be well documented or it will be disruption and you will not be approved

  9. Congrat and see you soon in the States,

You applied for the visa few months after your marriage and it falls under CR visa category and that s what the NVC,USCIS approved so the embassy cannot change it.

Now that you are entering with a CR visa and you meet the IR requirement (married more than 2 years before the visa is issued or enter US with an immigrant visa after 2 years of marriage ) you have to signal that at the POE...the officer will eventually ask you when you were married and blah blah while looking at your brown envelop files.

The poe officer is going to stamp your passport and write your A number and an expiration date inside your passport .that will be what is gonna be on your green card so if you didn't see IR1 and expiration date higher than 2 years, tell the officer you supposed to be IR1 not CR1 ...many people are intimidated and let it be and you have to pay about $500 and plus to remove condition and wait about 6 months to get your new card ...so it is in your advantage to claim the 10 yrs residency now.

    Safe flight

  10. Hi there

Actually you won't need that letter for anything and if for some reason you will need to do another biometrics, they will send you a new appoinemt.

Relax, you will just be approved and your new card will be on the way into your mail box.

The most important is the receipt number which you have.so you are good.

Next time make copies or scan official documents and save them into your cloud that Dan be access anywhere.
