  1. BTW, where are you at with NVC, have they received and done anything with your app yet?

I did very well at the NVC. Out petition arrived at the NVC in 6 days from USCIS, and only sat in the NVC for 4 days b4fore being forwarded to Manila. :):):):):)

  2. I hope and pray you are right wiombeen.. if I dont' get my NOA2 by tomorrow I hope next week will be the week.. It'll be my 4th month by the 12th so it would be a great blessing to get it before that date...

So far 18 April filers have been approved this week. That's amazing. I know it's frustrating that your not one of them, But 18 still. CSC is really cranking them out now. Hold tight, it's a coming!!!!

  3. WIOMBEEN.. I was surprised to get a reply from CSC this quick. I mean I sent the email last night like after midnight and today after lunch I got a reply and this is all it said.. it still left me to a dead end..

First off WOW. I never even got that haha. And who knows they are transferring the letter to the appropriate place so maybe it can still do some good.

either way this late in the game I am sure you will get your NOA2 before you will hear from them. Yours has to be soon as well as everyone else's baring no RFE's

  4. So I called USCIS yesterday using the RFE trick, however this time I proceeded as though I didn't have my receipt number. This led me to a different call center than CSC. The first person I spoke to had to be new, but after a few minutes of run around he agreed to escalate my call. I was excited at the prospects, but as usual I was dissapointed with the results, though I did find it more useful than talking to that one woman at CSC. Anyway, I kept waiting for the 'double touch' as a result of my call. I never saw it change to 8/2 but when I checked this AM it said 8/3. I'm cautiously optimistic yet scared to be hopeful that maybe our case was finally assigned.

Also, I said I'd report back on my NVC email, after one week I've gotten no reply.

Come on Super NOA2 Friday...no whammy no whammy no whammy!

    APPROVED!!! :dance::dance::dance::dance:

After the touch I had to call. I got a cool guy at CSC and I simply asked, "My case was touched and I want to know if I've been assigned or better yet approved?" Almost immediately he congratulated me and told me I had been approved yesterday. I called my girl right away and we are both ecstatic of course. It's been a tough last month on us, it's nice to finally be through this phase. With the consistency they've shown the past couple of weeks, it should be no time until this thread becomes all about NVC and interviews. I'm confident the rest of our April family will follow shortly.

BTW, he told me they sent the notice yesterday but my case still shows as pending online...

WOW congrats Deron!! about time eh? we are all falling into place now haha.... hello NVC...

  5. o what should I put in my subject? Thanks for the help..

    I put "I'm confused."

    Wioombeen

I sent the email last night before I went to bed.. do you think this will cause a problem? I know it didn't on your part and have gotten your approval and now on it's way to the embassy in Manila..I talked to my wife to be and it hurts to hear her cry over the phone..and all you can say is the same thing over and over that we will get it soon.. but in the reality.. i have no clue how soon is soon.. i can't guarantee her when..

You will be ok. It is a legitimate complaint.

  6. YES

    I-485 instructions:

    15. Evidence of eligibility.

    B. Based on admission as the K-1 fiancé(e) of a U. S.citizen and subsequent marriage to that citizen.

Attach a copy of the fiancé(e) petition approval notice, a copy of your marriage certificate and your Form 1-94.

    http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485instr.pdf

You can order a replacement one by filing for I-824 and pay a fee ($340)

If he never received one in the first place would he still have to pay $340?

  7. hi wioombeen.. will be good if I also included a link of this site to my email? like a direct link to this thread so they can see how many have been approved march and april?

They probably wont look If you gave them a link. here try this here is a list of all who have been approved with a later NOA1 date than April 12th. give them this list. 6 of these NOA1 dates are a about month or more beyond yours. this is somthing they will have to read. If they have to click on something they probably wont. Hopes this helps

  8. by the way did they reply? what did they say and how long did it take before writing you back? Thank you.

They never replied at all but My petition was approved a week later.....Because of the left? I don't know but heya its worth a try.

I found he email on the USCIS website. When they were having those troubles with all the Notices not being sent that is the email the gave to write to. Good luck

    Wioombeen

P.S. you might want to also tell them that your case has been touched more that Debbie was when she spent some time in Dallas. Joke but hmm Maybe you can say that haha.

Also yes of course use that email. everyone use it if you want to.

  9. If I don't hear anything about my case I plan to call after August 12..that is the day that I'll turn to 4 months.. What should I say? I'm kinda hesitant to say that filers after me have been approved cause they might ask for proof which I don't have any of you alls receipt number.. hehehe it's private ofcourse.. there are a few filers here that have NOA1s of April 12.. it seems like that date is not goind anywhere.. everyone before and after that date are getting approved..

I think you should tell them just that. Tell them they are processing petitions out of order. Ask if some people are getting extra favors. Ask them to give you a reason why others are getting preference over your case. You don't have to give them someone else's case number, just tel them you belong to a community of K-1 filers and many of them with dates far after your have been approved. And don't let them give you the "we are only processing dates in January" line. I mean don't be rude an obnoxious about it, but be tough. This is your case, you spent money on it, and you have the right to know. If your unlucky and get one of the nasty operators and they are of no help then ask to speak to a supervisor. Remember to be calm about it. Tell them you are not trying to cause problems but you fell you have the right to know why this is happening.

You can use what I wrote in my letter before.

    Say:

I know you say that all cases are processed in order they are received but Fact: there has been many people now with later NOA1 dates than mine that have been approved.

So the only explanation to this is.

My case has already been approved and I just haven't received my email update.

You are processing applications in an unorganized and out of oder fashion.

You are giving special favors to some petitioners. <-----(we know this isn't true but they don't like to hear that)

If you are going to wait until the 12th to call I think 7you should write them a letter in the meantime. use this email address. it is the one used if you feel you have been approved but haven't received a notice yet. i will again include my letter i wrote to the also

feel free to use it if you want to.

    To: CSC.NoNotice@DHS.Gov

I have received several touches, but no notice. I

have seen also several other people receive their

NOA2's who have dates after my own receipt date.

The USCIS assured me that they process the

applications in order they are received. If this is

true then I must have been approved already. Since i

have indeed seen many petitioners with later receipt

dates than my own being approved. I have even seen

one with a receipt date of June 20th approved. That

is over 2 month later than my own receipt date. The

only other explanation is that the USCIS process the

petitions out of order or they give special treatment

    to some petitioners.

please let me know which of these are true.

    1. The CSC is processing petitions out of order.

    2. Some petitioners are given special treatments.

    3. My petition has already been approved but due to

the system problems at the CSC I have not yet received

    a notice.

One of these has to be accurate.

    thanks

  10.:dance::dance: I just rang up CSC....and played dumb... :innocent: (I told him that I heard some CSC petititions had been lost and because of my luck, I wanted to make sure mine wasn't one of thme...hahaha) was a very helpful hispanic sounding male who answered my call. He said as of yesterday our case has been assigned to an officer and is being reviewed (WHOOT WHOOT):dance::dance:

    Let's go CSC!

Re. April 12th filers....I did happen to notice that whole week no one has heard anything. I agree...I think you all should bombard them with calls...hehe :lol:

HAHA thats awesome. this week is indeed a great week. I just called the NVC they shipped our petition to the Manila Embassy on Monday the 30th. :):):):)

  11. Hi.

I just wanted to let you know that we got an approval notice via email this morning!

Our official NOA1 date was April 16, 2007 and NOA2 date is August 1, 2007.

(But we filed our petition in February and it was lost by CSC.....)

I hope the rest of the April Fillers get their approvals soon!!!!

I am going to update my timeline shortly.

WOW that is crazy they lost it. Congrats to finally getting approved though!
