  1. Yay! Our packet has been received by TSC!! Your item was delivered at 5:46 AM on April 4, 2007 in MESQUITE, TX 75149 to INS . The item was signed for by M S.

Haha why is it that it's always 5:46AM for TSC? :D:P

    Hi Fellow april filier,

  2. wioombeen,

IS THERE AN EXPLANATION IF MOST OF THE TIME YOU REALLY DON'T GET TRANSFERRED TO A REAL CSC EMPLOYEE AND NOT JUST SOME CALL CENTER UNDER USCIS?

I don't think so. I think there are just a lot of miserable people up there. That is actually one of the things the USICS said will change with the new fee increase haha. You just need to be lucky and not have on of them answer the phone.

Remember this will most likely result in a touch. This touch most likely does not mean your case is being processed.

  4. My I-129F was recently approved so now I'm just waiting the couple of weeks or so for it to arrive at the NVC.

Just curious if during this wait will I get any more emails from USCIS telling me it's been shipped?

Can I sign up at the NVC to receive notices like we did at the USCIS?

Or is this part of the journey where I just a sit back and wait for a regular snail mail notification?

I've read the flowcharts so I'm fairly familiar just wondering about the little parts that are not mentioned. hehe.

Thanks in advance for any insights.

  5. I hadn't checked my case on the USCIS site for the last 2 weeks to keep myself sane…. until yesterday my fiancé told me that  WE FINALLY GOT OUR NOA2!!!!:dancing:

It arrived via snail mail. Approved July 19, 2007, never received email notification.

For those April filers who are still waiting, I know this is soooooo frustrating, but hang in there. (F) I hope to hear your good news soon!!

    WOOT!! Congrats to you. :):):):):)

  6. I tried the RFE trick. The lady I got had a very thick accent and was not helpful. She denied that they process petitions out of order, yet told me it was not possible people who filed in March or April had been approved already. She even asked me to give her a receipt number for someone who had made it through already out of order, as if I had one, or as if she could even legally share their information with me.

Then she proceeded to tell me how she'd been working the phones for over a year and she knew what she was talking about. Then, as if to make sure she ruined my day, she said "you'll just have to wait a few more months".

I was so furious I just had to get off the phone before I snapped.

Wow yeah you got a hold of someone who just wasn't a very happy person haha. I would try again. Most there are very very helpful. I don't think you will be waiting a few more months. You didn't get her ID number did you? I think she was just telling you that for the Halibut!!!

And how in the world would you know someone else's wac number haha. THAT IS WACK! haha. I always use the "your processing out of order" routine and they have always been apologetic or simply say WOW i don't know what to tell you.

Keep the chin up. and try again later if you want to.

  7. I once won the restoration of my family's honor by fighting in a grueling week long martial arts, death match competition, held deep within central China by the evil overlord Krung.

  8. we have been waiting for noa2 from csc for 3 months ,but don`t see any updates or touches.

wondering did they read our paperwork at all?

Your still on track. It seems they are adjudicating petitions from early April right now. you maybe have a week or two left to wait. but it varies from person to person. so it may be more or less for you.

Many people are over 100 days before they get their NOA2. So no need to worry yet. :):):)

  10. Is it necessary to put captions on our pictures? Thanks

No, but it makes them look nice and give the adjudicator something to connect him/her to the image. I would recommend doing it. after all it only take s a few moments. Unless of course you REALLY REALLY REALLY hate to write haha

I printed each caption on the bottom of a piece of card stock paper then taped the picture to the top. I think anything that can make the petition easier to look through can help. I also added a cover letter to each section such as "Photos", "Chat transcripts" Ect., and a brief explanation on what exactally the adjudicator will be looking at. Again maybe going to this extent is not necessary but it certainly does not hurt either and really doesn't take that much more time to put together a very neatly done petition.

Certainly a sloppy petition with all the necessary documents will still be approved where a HOT looking petition with not enough will not. But I still think if you can, make your petition as neat and easy to look though as possible.

  11. What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

    1. A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

This was taken from the K-1 guides.

Do I really need to send her this? Isn't the petition I sent transfered to the consulate for the interview?

I never received an RFE so I know that doesn't apply.

Thanks so much for your help in advance.

    Wioombeen

Don't need to, but helpful for reference for your fiancee. The embassy will have the original petition forwarded to them.

    Thank you kindly :):):):)
