We got her SSN in her married name with her EAD, so my guess it when they approved and issued her greencard something got messed up.
-
(sorry if this is in the wrong area)
We recently moved, wife went to get a Michigan drivers license but they say her name is still listed as her maiden name in the SAVE database.... Her ssn and greencard are already in her married name)
How do we fix this so she can get a license in her married name.
(best part about this it was already in her married name from where we moved from)
Do we need an infopass appointment?
Please help!
Thanks!

Well we got a interview waiver letter dated 1/10 however just got it in the mail on Friday 1/17. Got a text message on 1/18 saying card ordered for production. Was it really that quick or is the case status system doing dumb things..
I mean no way it was actually approved on 1/18, that would mean they were working on a Saturday.
Hopefully it is real and we will have my wife greencard in the next couple days.

My wife received her ead/ap combo card however we still haven't received her approval letters for both the ead and ap. Maybe they got lost in the mail? Maybe not..
Do we need these letters at some point? Should I bother to call USCIS and ask them to send out another copy of the approval letters?
Any ideas?

No help for the Indiana side.. We just applied in Ohio under her maiden name (even though we were already married). We will go back and deal with changing the name later, the important part was getting the card quickly as possible so we didn't even bother trying to get it in her married name.
Reapply in maiden name, don't say anything about being married.

Helfen Uns, bitte!
Meine Verlobte wants to get the immunizations needed before the medical exam. Is there a current list available?
Also, she has a 9-year-old son; is there a list of vaccinations for Kinder (or does anyone know offhand)?
Thanks so very much in advance for any help. It's a bit confusing.

It really is best to apply in VISA name.
Darnell, is it ok to apply in VISA name (maiden) after marriage? Then change name after card arrives? Yes, it's an extra trip to the SOS office but maybe less of a headache to do it.

What does your consulate website say. For Frankfurt, DS156, DS156K and DS230 part I and II are needed (and part II is not needed in most other consulates)
-
Boarding passes, passport stamps, train tickets (with names) are examples.
Pictures help also but may not be enough on their own
-
See our timeline in the signature, there was ~2 weeks where Frankfurt said our physical file wasn't there, even though we tracked it with DHL and knew it was there. Just give it time, they will process it soon.

Hallo, habt ihr euch vor der Ausreise in die USA in eurem Wohnort abgemeldet? und falls ja, gab es Probleme am Flughafen mit der Ausreise in Deutschland oder der Einreise in den USA?

Visa approved! Hopefully we leave together on the 1st of August! Good luck for the next ones! We were so nervous but us interacting and having our fun in front of the pre-screener and consul got us the approval lol
Congrats!!! Our interview is tomorrow... I am extremely nervous. My fiancee is not really so that's good since she will be the one interviewing...
Hope all goes well and I will be hopefully posting good news here tomorrow morning..

Congrats everyone!!!
We actually had an interview date on the 18th but had to reschedule for a week later because my fiancee was graduating then...
Good luck on your interviews everyone... I already know I will not be sleeping the night when she will be in the consulate. I am already nervous.

I'll try to help where I can.
2) If you can give the whole story and make it fit go for it. Ours was a few extra lines and we attached it.
3) If you are referring to question 10 and you were born in the US. Put N/A in the box, the certificate number is only for naturalization certificate.
4) Get the actual picture or have him send a picture against a white background and there are websites that will allow you to size it and you can print it at a drugstore and cut them out. Or get him to take them there, and have your mom to bring them back.
5) Yes, its separate. (sorta). I answered that question with all the times we met and then had a section in the back with all my boarding passes, train tickets, passport stamp copied into word and then pictures in a bag.
As for the denied visa, no need for the 129F, you will have to fill out more forms for the embassy after you are approved and they will ask you that.
Hope that helps some

What does the status say when you type the Guangzhou number into ... https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?
Most likely I would say system glitch, always could call USCIS and confirm.
