  1. Ok I understand. Pls prayer for me

There is not much that can be done. It is the duty of the government to screen every applicant to keep bad people from sneaking into the US. If you come from an area where there aren't good records , many people share similar names or there are known dis-likers of the US government you will have to wait until they are sure you are not a bad person.

  2. Tks for reply and pls prayer for me

You are in AP =Administrative processing in which they can do any kind of investigative work on your case such as document verification, back ground checks, name checks and even field investigations to see who knows you etc.

When these checks are complete the visa can be issued/or denied if anything questionable comes back from these checks.

This process can take anywhere from a few months to over a year or more. Nothing can expedite the process or make it go any faster. You just have to be patient and let them complete their work. You can call Department of STate (DOS) for any other updates

  3. My I-601 waiver already approved from uscis office in New Delhi India. I talk about after waiver approved. yesterday I got refusal worksheet just mark x section 221(g)

601 Waivers are handled at specific regional USCIS consulate-based offices. In the case of Maanf2a, because his F2A case is going through Islamabad, the regional USCIS office that handles the 601 waiver is New Delhi. I'd be willing to bet just about everyone in South Asia who must provide a 601 waiver goes through New Delhi - it's analogous to people in Europe having their 601s forwarded to Rome (I think)or East Asia [which I believe goes through Seoul, Korea].

To Maanf2a - this thread will give you the best information about handling a 221g through Islamabad. The posters on this topic show perseverance and their patience is astounding!

OK, so it looks like whatever waiver you needed (previous overstay?) was approved, and now you are in AP (Administrative Processing- ie extra security checks), which happens to almost everyone from your country.

Too much complicated ... New Delhi received on December 16, 2011 and then you received a call from U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. What is this?

Where are you from actually and why two different embassies from two totally different countries received your documents?

Many men from Pakistan go thru AP.. my husband has been in AP for almost 18 months now. Our tracker shows loads of ppl that are still in ap a months to years after interview... This embassy requires complete and thorough back ground checks it's common for this embassy.

Your case required a waiver so they may not have done anything like this prior to the approval of the waiver they were waiting to see if the waiver was approved and now that it has they can complete the checks

Did the check the medical related and the public charge information? What exactly was check marked on your sheet?

  8. Thanks EAbbas for ur reply but y they put my case administrative process. Is common after I-601 waiver approved ? And y they type all words in refusal worksheet ? What is refusal worksheets. I got refusal worksheet latter. Pls reply me tks

From what this states it would be nothing more than administrative processing to do name checks and background checks which is the normal process for this embassy.

    Good luck to you
