Hi Jay Kay I have a question we are sending in the I485 however my husbands birth certifiacte is in spanish, does he have to have it translated to English? My mother did. I want to know if it has to be translated does it have to be notarized or could I do it myself. I Hope you can help me with this.

ok never mind its me again. I wen online and applied for the interview. do they give us a date because I cant find where to make the interview.They asked me for the DHL in guadalajara already, but thats it. Do they get in contact with me? because it says the interview and it says I havent made one yet. but I dont know where to go to make it. Hope you can help jay kay and sorry for all my comments.

OK I figure out how to schedule the interview but now I am confused. I am filing out where it says "Non immigrant" but when I file everything and check in the circles the one for a K1 Visa is not an option. Am I doing this correct? I hope you can helpe me.

hi alex! ok I have a question. I am filling DS260 and where it says "the petitoneris my:" there are options as wife, husband, daughter, ect but it does not say fiance. Therefore do I put "self"? also where it says where they intent to work int he united states do i put not employed since he is not employed yet or do I put other? I hope you can help me

hey jay kay thank you for all your help so far! I called the NVC yesterday and they finally assigned our new case number! my question is when can i schedule the interview? I understand we need the so called "packet 3" from Juarez but what if it does not arrive? How do we know when the petition is in Juarez already and that we can schedule an interview?

I'm sorry I don't know anything about letters of intent. When I mentioned that to our advisor she laughed and said that wasn't something they look at anymore, so we never had one and we were always fine. They never asked for one and we never got an RFE. Sorry. Good luck, xx.

When i checked online, i saw they mailed out an RFE. Im happy, this means my NOA2 is VERY close! I also got to meet my good friend Godsgift and her hubby over there! Good luck Godsgift! VISA APROVADA!
