Completing 60 days of not knowing why I'm under AP, or IF I am under AP (I was not given 221g).... No visa, no passport, no info of any sort. "Happy" New Year?

ur case is like Jay Jay in that matter..he was also not informed anything for 4 weeks and suddenly he is informed that a signature is missing..u might hear from them anytime now..or may be one of the US consular officers is in luv with ur pic..in that case u might hav to wait till he gets over u..;)no time frame for that unfortunately..keep ur fingers crossed..i don't think there shld be a problem as they check all the docs at the time of interview..ur case is not under AP..i think this i...

i think this is just one of their delaying technique..my case was like this..my interview was on 8th nov..AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT (AOS) was not original as my fiance submitted the original docs in USA when he was filing for visa..the guy who took my interview still insisted on an original copy..so i got a white slip 221g for missing docs..my fiance had to send it again..i submitted this doc on 15th nov..and m waiting since then..waiting sucks big time!! i only wish that i m there for chr...

Hats off to those who are waiting or have waited for their visas for weeks/months after the interview. It's been 20 days since my interview and the USEM is seriously testing my patience... I want my visa!!!

Had a tough interview... Finally after 6 hours at the consulate was told visa is approved.. Now after 2 weeks, case under administrative processing for who knows how long. Things can only get better (or worse...)

I had to get a checklist. I handed them the interview appointment letter along with the packet 4 checklist, and they accepted it. She can just download it from http://mumbai.usconsulate.gov/ivforms.html if she doesn't have it.

I was wondering if you can help. I need to get my PCC, but they are asking for the checklist letter from the NVC. I don't have the letter but I have the interview appointment email. Will this be enough? My interview is in a couple of weeks, so I'm in a hurry : Thanks!

I got my appointment email from MUMBAIIV, with the address mumbaiiv@state.gov. Is this genuine?

I have filed for the K1 visa. Do I need to book an appointment at a OFC for biometrics? Or can I just get it done at the interview? Please answer!!
