I can;t take this anymore
It was 60 days yesterday that our case was open for investigation under Administrative Process and I was told to call once the 60 days were up for the updates and the next steo depending on the results. I call today and they say case is still pending you have to wait until 90 days are up so call back by Jan 9th.. Again I am going to be all alone for the holidays I don't have any family here and I can't afford to go see him plus I can't get the days ...-
I'm stressing a lot over my case. I'm already tired of this process.. I'm pretty much stuck since i can't make any further plans because I dont know when my visa will come, and if it will still be approved
I really do hope you get your visa soon. It must be so hard to stay away from your husband! I can't imagine.

They say it's 2 months, but unfortunately there is NO set duration.. I got an email from the DOS the other day (because I insisted I get a response) and they said that "there is no definite time frame as it depends on individual case"... So basically, it can take more than 2 months as I've read some people on here had to wait for 5 months!!! But it's also possible to get it the visa in less than 2 months... it depends on individual case.

Hi, I was interviewed on 8th November 2012 for my k-1 visa..one document was missing which they ask to me to submit at my local VFS office..I submitted that on 15th nov along with 221g form..its 24th nov today and I have yet not received my passport stamped or any email asking me to collect my passport from the local vfs office.. Please help..is this delay normal..can i verify my status in detail.. regards, Swehun

I've found myself asking that too!!! It is frustrating when they don't give you any info regarding the status. I want to know my status even if I'm denied rather than keeping me in ignorance like this. They didn't even ask for further documents or anything at all; just decide to keep my passport without reason. Have you tried contacting them?

Kenya is the most annoying country ever!!!! I tried to get my husband's name on my ID the other day but they said it wasn't possible because he's a foreigner. Seriously! And that he's not in the Kenyan system because he's not a citizen nor a permanent resident. blah blah!!! Will talk to Mr Lawyer and see what he has to say about all this #######.
