Most Ghanaian men love respect from their ladies. They love it when you give them the driver seat. Be submissive to him at all times. Do not yell, scream, swear, or put them down in any way. You will be expected to up keep the home; cooking, cleaning, decorating, taking care of the children and him (not financially). It is important you create a binding relationship with his family, especially his parents. Allow your guy to take care of the home financially and always make his opinion count. You can always meet in some place other than the US. Find a common ground where you both can obtains visas or are allowed to enter and meet each other there. The world has a large area of meeting places.

Definately go for the theft charges. There may also be an ability to file slander charges. Do not contact her directly about anything. If she left things behind arrange a police observer to that exchange. If she says she wants to return the things she stole , have it documented at the police station. If she ever had a car key see if you can get the locks there reprogrammed.
