  1. Hi, everyone, I have a question about I-134 support is that file if you don't make enough money and you need support. Question 2# If u have a sponors do they file out the same form I-134. What is the other form call if any. What information will you need from your sponors. :star:

I'm not sure what question #1 is exactly. But I'm guessing you're wondering if you don't make enough money if you need a co-sponsor. Yes. But you need to fill out the I-134 form as well, not just the sponsor. So, to answer your question #2, the sponsor will have to fill out the same form I-134 Affidavit of support with their own information and provide the required proofs along with the form. Do a google search for I-134 instructions or go here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-134instr.pdf

Hope this helps! :) Message me if you need any more help!!!

  2. I don't think you need to include them since you don't claim them as dependents on your tax forms (or do you?) If you don't claim them as dependents, then they are not dependents. But if you do, you might have to include them.

Also, since they can support themselves without your help, and vice versa, I don't think you are supporting them financially--just doing your part. If you lived on your own, you would still pay rent and pay your bills... So, I think you don't need to include them as part of your household. Hope this helps! :)

  3. I think in Haiti, they usually do the chest x-ray after the PPD Skin test. Because if as a child you too the tuberculosis vaccine, the skin test will show as positive and only a chest x-ray can prove that the person doesn't have tuberculosis. So, if the PPD test was positive, then for proof, I would take the Chest X-ray.

But I'm not sure if the x-ray is required if the test is negative, or if the PPD test was not part of the requirements. Hope this helps!

  5. I realize that there is alot that she is hiding. Do you think that chances of passing and gaining entry are very slim to none? I hear that they are pretty thorough.

I think that you should just go ahead and tell the truth. There is a big chance that she will be discovered and therefore be denied entry FOREVER into the US. She should have gotten the help of an attorney to force the older man into ending the marriage, clearing her name (even though it's different then her real one) with the US, and then proceed to have you file for her.

I fear that all the lies will just be discovered and then both you and her will be in trouble :(

  6. I'm no expert. But I think for you, there should be no problem (being an USC.)

As for your parents, they will most likely have to travel on a visitor's visa. Meaning they would have to travel back in forth until you can secure a place to live, a possible job, and file for residency for them. I am certain you will need a co-sponsor for the affidavit of support--so I would start by researching the ways your parents can get a visitor's visa, securing a co-sponsor, and file a "Petition for Alien Relative" for your parents. Form I-130 and any other supporting documents.

  7. Hello. After u receive your noa2 and your case reaches the embassy. Everything can be emailed to you and your fiancé. Haiti mail is very slow. The embassy will email everything to u if u request it.

I agree! But you can also call USCIS with your case number and change his address by phone (my fiance just moved and I need to change his address, that's what most research online have told me.)

  8. My fiance has received the RFE letter this after noon .For evidence photos , passport stamps , hotels receipt... would it be enough if i show original documents that i send to my fiance money on a regular basis for the past 2 years? Thank you so much !

If the letter specifically asked for photos, passport stamps, hotel receipts, etc. I would make sure I have those in the packet in addition to the proof of money sent to your fiance :) Hope that helps!

  9. I would contact them & remind them that it's supposed to be expedited. Granted, expediting our requests means that someone else's application gets pushed back. I really believed that my expedite was necessary, or I wouldn't have made the request. But still, they are expediting Haiti for a reason. The situation in Haiti, as you know, is putting a lot of pressure on the people, government and international aid. I see it like this: if my fiance is able to leave & come up here, he will help by sending money back to his family, as well as opening up a place for someone in Haiti to live, and providing a job for someone there (since he's employed full-time in a bank).

I wish you all the luck!

I did not do the extra expedite; so I tried calling earlier this month stating that Haiti was supposed to be expedite automatically but a lady told me that it is still within normal processing time. That I will most likely receive the approval letter sometime in Nov/Dec (given there are no requests for more evidence)--I'll be visiting my fiance soon and hope to get the approval soon and we can get doctors appts, police certificates and such while I'm there :)
