  1. It depends on what kind of evidence you are required to provide.

Our was only a petitioner's passport size of photo.

And my husband sent it out by a registered mail not express post. :bonk:

So, it took a few days to arrive then 1 week was for reviewing.

1 more week to approve our I130. It wasted us almost 1 month time.

    Good luck!

thank u so much im sending the evidence monday pray for me!!!

  2. At least you know they are finally looking at your petition! Just follow the RFE instructions explicitly and make sure to put the colored RFE paper on the top of the pile you send (but make a copy of it for your records). This is because they get so much correspondence every day they want to know immediately when they open your envelope what its for so they can direct it properly. Prayin' for you!

thanks but after all this wait i was hoping to get the approval

  3. Please fill in your timeline.

Are you saying you filed a year ago and there hasn't even been an interview yet? Which stage are you at? Any red flags?

  4. hey everyone Today I got an email from the Immigration Service Officer

Thank you for your inquiry. On August 23, 2012 an Immigration Service Officer from the California Service Center responded to your service request by informing you that the petitioners A file is required to complete the processing of this petition. We have requested the A-file from our File Storage Facility. Once the file is received, we will complete the adjudication of this case. If you do not receive a decision within 60 days of this inquiry, please contact csc-ncsc-followup@dhs.gov. Thank you very much.

umm does anyone know whats an A-file? and from whom did they required it?

does that mean I'm about to get a decision?

  5. this is the reply i always get when i email them

This e-mail acknowledges receipt of your status inquiry concerning an I-130 petition. We recognize your interest in a final adjudication on your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. The California Service Center is committed to processing this workload, and will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in an expeditious fashion as soon as available under our resource constraints. Thank you for your inquiry.

  6. were you a USCitizen prior to the I-130 being filed?

    IF SO, somethings amiss.

Did you move and not tell USCIS?

    If so, somethings' amiss.

Please to call INTO USCIS on Tuesday morning, and inquire for casefile status.

Ask specifically if there are returned mail pieces with your name on them,

    of an ISO.

    SEE ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm

Then report back here for what's what.

IMO, do NOT file a service request JUST YET, as it will delay things.

yes i was a USCitizen I've been living here since I was a child did not move

plz tell me what to do ?

    thanks for ur help
