  5. By God's eternal grace, my K1 visa was approved a few days back. Perhaps the easiest interview I have ever attended in my whole life. In fact my B1/B2 interview in New Delhi consulate was tougher when I got my 10 year visa then. All in all it has been a real smooth process for me. Next stop, Virginia, USA.

  6. Happy to inform you that I am in receipt of my approved K1 visa with the passport and the mysterious looking brown package. I am elated, happy and mighty relieved. Thank you very much for all the encouragement you gave me and wish you all the very best for your K1 process. You will succeed.

  14. Excellent news. I am really so very happy for you. U've waited quite a long for this. But once the petition reaches Auckland consulate, everything goes in fast forward mode. It really all depends on you now. I wish you all the very best. Cheers.

  15. Hello my friend, I am doing fine, will have some information for you very soon on my visa front. I am really happy for you and hearty Congratulations on your marriage. All your dreams have come true. And now wish me all the best :).

  16. I think you have pretty solid documentation in terms of proving your ties to India. I dont see any issue in you being able to have a smooth entry at the POE. Thanks for replying me in the messenger. I left another one for you, lol. Cheers.

  17. Oh no, I visited my fiancee just before we applied for our I-129F. So no drama at POE. I believe you need to carry a copy of I-129F and documents showing strong ties to India. I am sure you are aware of this as you must have gathered some info here on VJ. By the way please check your personal messenger I left a message there for you. Do reply me through a PM after reading my message there. Cheers.

  18. I was right in thinking that you had a B1/B2 10 yr multiple entry visa--because that is exactly the same visa I used to visit my fiancee last year :). Same pinch :). I got it through my company when I was in Hyderabad. I was working for a big BPO. How did you get this B1/B2 visa? Did you apply on your own or you applied through a company?

  19. By the way I wanted to ask you on what visa are you going to the USA? I presume it must be a B1/B2 visa or is it some other type of visa?

  20. Hey have a safe and a happy journey to the USA. I wish both of us all the very best in our visa journey :)Our visa's are coming to us God willing.

  21. Yes, panel physician is the person the embassy wants you to go to. I guess u could wait till what your Panel physician advises u. In the meanwhile you can ask your fiance to get all the W2 records for the last 2 years ready. Notarized affidavits from parents and friends evidencing ur relationship will be good to have as well.

  22. Hi Gemini, so when are you guys leaving for the USA? And when is the marriage date? Really exicted and happy for you guys. Wish you all the very best. Cheers.

  23. Hello my fellow Hyderabadi, what is the latest update on your situation? Have you heard anything after your RFE reply? Keep me updated with your news.

  24. Just ensure that at the bottom of the "Vaccination Documentation Worksheet" your panel physician has ticked the box which reads "Vacchine history complete for each vacccine, all requirements met". I do not think that you will need to get all the 12 shots. If you already had some shots (listed in the vaccine sheet) it would be of great help.

  25. On the advice of the panel physician, I underwent a titer test to check what immunities my body had. The results showed that I only needed to get shots for Rubella, Influeza and Tdap booster. I had the whole shots for MMR anyway. So out of the 12 vaccines listed by the embassy, I had shots for 4 and the rest were recorded by my panel physician as being age inappropriate. What about you?
