  1. My fiance might also leave her daughter to complete treatment if it is needed. She already lives with her grandmother so she would keep her during treatment. Did you go for your Visa interview at U.S. Embassy with your medical clearance as normal then later do your child's K-2 as an attachment to your K-1? I read online that it is possible do attach the K-2 to K-1 within 1 year for a child. Will U.S. Embassy let you keep your scheduled K-1 appointment even if a K-2 child doesn't have medical clearance yet? Thanks for any insight and advice about this.

Are u asking me? I came here on a K1 visa and few years later my USC husband file an I-130 for my two kids which was really our original plan before i even started the k1.

  2. guys i'm so stress on thinking of what will be the result of my son cheast x-ray. the nurse told me that they still need to wait for the 2nd reading to finalize the result. i was get confused why is it still need to go this far if the first reading is ok.i can't stop thinking getting so much worry.I was already done in my med.exam but my son needs to come back on tuesday for the result,if ok then he will be immunize. i hope he will be fine. i can't see anything that my son is unhealthy in fact he never get colds fever flu or any decease especially what they call TB. none of our history or society so i can't imagine upon on what i have understand on the guy at the 3rd floor check out counter that the first reading is not enough to tell, that's why they need to wait for the 2nd reading before they release the result. but before they they said that they can say if the child is for immunization on the first reading only when they asked me if i can wait until 4-6pm to know if my son is surely for immunization but they don't. i'm highly confident that my son is ok because i am the one who is taking care of him and i always make sure that i give the best to him...so how come it goes to something like this.the situations is bothering me so much, until tuesday to know the next step. please guys enlightend me about, is a 5 year old kid is possible to get a bad result even that kid is healthy as far as your concern? sorry if my question is medyo nakakalito, meron po dito sa atin na positive TST ang anak at nagkaroon ng finding sa cheast x-ray? please helpme. i can't sleep with out clear on my mind...i'm very very worrying and very fell sad for my son. please share me your experience. anything is very much appreciated. thank you

Your post is kinda confusing but i hope i understand it right. Here is my point of view. I had 2 kids ages 13 and 8yrs old that time when they had their medical exam at st. lukes. One of my child has positive skin test. Even if the skin test is positive and the xray result is negative then u are okay. Just pray that the xray is negative.

It is very common for us to have the positive on tb skin test. Pray na lng na negative ung xray result or if she has signs of TB pray that the consul will still issue her the visa and have the treatment here in the US.

My friend also has 2 kids. She was able to bring with her only one of her child coz the other one had to stay to complete the 9 month medication at St. Lukes.

I was lucky enough that i was able to bring my 2 kids and my daughter was issued a visa but she had to do her 9 month medication here in the US for Free which she already completed.

Pray that the xray result is negative. Prayers ,prayers. There is nothing impossible with him.

  3. Hello!

I am a USC by naturalization. Living in Alaska right now. I want to get an CRBA for my 2 boys in the Philippines. I have met the physical reqs. My husband is non US citizen and works in Dubai. Our children are in the PI with my parents. I was wondering how do I file a CRBA if I am in Alaska and can not make it home for the appointment. My dad is a USC, can he do it for me if I get a special power of atty? im really lost! I miss my children so much!

    Thank you all in advance!

You can do it. if u can't get ur kids thru CRBA u can file an I-130 for ur kids. I know how u feel coz i left my kids for a few years before they came here.Good luck.I did CRBA too for my USC son.

  4. Does it have to be the jurisdiction of the state that we were married in (Colorado) or the state that we currently live in (South Carolina). The reason I'm trying to do this now is because we are going on a cruise for our anniversary and we need our passports. I don't want any issues to arise with the passport and green card having two completely different names on them.

it should be where u currently live. You can make a phone call coz i did mine in the mail and had my personal appearance when they had the outreach here in Atlanta. You need to do it now if you have plans to travel.

  5. Hello vj members,

Hope everyone is doing great. Okay, to make the story short i just had my N-400 Interview and test yesterday and was given the paper marked " I have passed the civic and US history government test and the other box was checked that says "Congratulations ! your application has been recommended for approval".

I knew i passed coz the immigration officer told me i did.

I had given this Name Change Form coz i want to use my name exactly the same as what all my documents and green card appeared.

The officer said they will have that form forwarded and signed by a judge.

How long do you think before they can schedule me for the oath taking ceremony?

I heard they say it will take 6 months but Immigration officer told me it will take couple of weeks and just wait for the letter to come in the mail.

Is there anything i should worry about? Thanks.

  6. There is a section in the Document Checklist.....If you are applying for naturalization on the basis of marriage to a U.S. citizen, send the following 4 items: number 4 Documents refering to you and your spouse It ask for tax returns, bank statements, leases, mortgages or ....... I am not sure if they are asking for all of this or just one of them and if so then are they wanting the whole tax return and three years worth and do they want the whole mortgage. all of these documents are severall pages long . Not sure what to do

    Thanks for your help

    Ron

  9. I have made calls and emailed over 20 people to figure out how to fix the situation i am currently in. And each answer i do get is diffferent or contradicts the others. Any way, when i was 15 i got a Philippine Passport (green one). Shortly after i was adopted and brought to america. But the adoption paperwork wasnt finalized for almost 2 years. So i wasnt allowed to apply for citizenship because i was to old by the time the adoption was official. Long story short years later i met a great man whom decided to ask me to marry him. The only identification i had was about to expire which was my passport. So we applied for a new one. We were able to get married but only under my birth name since i had no documentation (ID) with my adopted name. About 2 months after we were married my new passport arrived, but it was in my adopted name. So for example. I was born Sarah Jane Brown, I was adopted and name changed to Sarah Jessica Black, and then i got married and my name now is Sarah Jane White. So now i have a green card, drivers license, marriage certificate, etc as Sarah Jane White, but my philippine passport is under the name Sarah Jessica Black. (All these names are examples...not literal). So please tell me what i can do to fix this. Its my understanding that all i would have to do is submit somekind of paper work to change my passport to my married name, but the issue lies in getting my middle name changed also as i kept my birth middle name. Someone please give me advice and guidance on how i can fix this. Some of the answers i have gotten suggest changing all my id's and marriage certificats and all that to match my passport, others say all i need is a affidavit of one and the same, and so forth. Please help us figure this out.

all you have to do is submit a "Report of Marriage" to your nearest philippine consulate along with the application to ammend your passport. Once u reported your marriage then u can ammend your passport and they will chance your passport name into whatver you want in your passport to appear.Call and read about report of marriage it is not that hard..i did that.
