Well we sent our aos 2 weeks ago. We got our entire packet back today because my husband signed 1 line too high on one of the forms.....

Guess Ill overnight it tomorrow........

Everything is stapled and put together so I will have to redo the package again....

It was a scam...probably someone your fiance told you were going through this process. The rio consulate doesnt even know about your case until it is transferred there....

I have always heard that aos cost 375.00 which includes biometrics. I just printed off the i-485 and it says it cost a total os 395.00. Has the price changed and do we need to send in the new amount?

I have read it but was just confused on wether I needed to send it all in as well. another question though.....what is his USCIS current status?

We are hoping to send off Renato's aos this week. I was inc ollege last year and so I did not make anywhere close to the requirements for income. We have a cosponsor so I am not worried about that. My question is do I have to fill out the i-864 as well. Do I need to get all the supporting evidence for myself or can I just send it the stuff from co sponsor. Thanks everyone!

We contacted our congressman as well. Soon after we got the approval. I know it helped us.

The interveiw is easy...They didnt ask Renato any questions. Are you sponsoring him yourself or with a cosponsor? You will only need to send him the 1-134 and the supporting docs. After you return Packet 3 you should recieve an interveiw date about a month fromt hat. If you want advice on making the process shorter just send me a private message and i will give you hints.

We are filinf our stuff next week. Everything is in my name. I hope this wont be a problem. It was already in my name so we didnt see the need to change it. We just added him to my cell plan and such. We are living with my mother and so we dont even have a lease together. We only have a joint checking account.

we didnt use paystubs...just aletter from our companies stating how much we make.

they required 3 from my cosponsor. They gave all mine back to Renato. If your sponsor is married and filed a joint return..make sure you have a copy of his last w2.
