  1. Hi All,

I received an email from Islamabad Embassy today requesting for Original Birth certificate and Marriage certificate for my parents. Now they do have the original marriage certificate but both didn't have the birth certificates as there wasnt any centralized body documented those records at 1940's. Can someone please advise how can I justify my statement and how to proceed further from here.

    Thanks Much!

  2. Hey All,

I have a question for which I need your experienced advise, my elder brother traveled to US back in 2001 for his Masters studies, after he finished his studies he started working part time while looking for a job in his own profession. Those were bad time after 9/11 and he was in NY so FBI raided at his work and found him behind the counter means he was an employee so they asked him his legal (immigration papers) and all which obviously he didn't have then. Legal proceedings started and he hired a lawyer and after 6 months of hearings he decided there is no point paying whatever he was earning to the lawyer so he voluntarily left the Country in 2003.

After 13 years now I want to apply I-130 for him and there is a section in the form which asks "Has your relative ever been under immigration proceedings" and gives options of "Removal, Exclusion/Deportation, Rescission, Judicial Proceedings".

Please let me know how should I move forward from this hurdle?

    Thanks Much in Advance!!

  3. Hi All, I am in need of some helpful advise here...I am a US Citizen and want to apply for my parents (till here everything is smooth) but I also have an unmarried Sister (24) who is depended on parents. Now issue is that she is the only child left with them and they cant leave her alone there if I apply for them so is there any way that I can apply for her as well on some or any basis so that she can accompany them to US?

  4. Do you have any credit history in US?

    Do you have any collateral?

Do you have any Business Plan?

If you have any of these you might get a loan.

    1. Obviously as a new immigrant there wont be any credit history but lets say in my case what will be a recommended credit score and how long it will gonna take me to get to that mark?? like what really helps me in building the score...getting a job paying taxes for a whole financial year / getting 2-3 credit cards n paying them accordinly...etc.

    2. In terms of collateral say savings are of about $35 grand...how about that without any mortgages or prior loans or any rental properties n stuff, how this sounds?

    3. About business plan ya do have two three ideas to start with, but should it be a feasibility report kind of stuff with whole documentation planned and designed by me or it would be just about telling the bank manager that this is the plan and thats how I'll start.

Any ideas about conversion of driving licence from valid Australian to Illinois driving licence..do I have to go through a whole process as applying fresh or it'll be a straight through trade-in sort of stuff?

    Regards.

  5. hey guys, just wanna post something to really test you all here....idea9dv.gif

    1. If one has a valid Australian Driving Licence till 2016, it can be trade-in to get Illinios DL straight up, I mean with out passing theory & all that practical stuff.

    2. If one has about 35K$ in terms of savings to bring to US, and the required loan for a business is like 300K$

-----Is a new immigrant eligible to apply for a business loan,

-----If yes than on a above mentioned savings how much one can get from a bank

Forgot to mention that with no mortgage or any other type of loan or credit cards, with own appartment and car. dancin5hr.gif

    Need expert advices please.

    Regards

  6. now that's quiet strange..which city do you live in

I live in karachi & a friend offered me PCC at my doorstep

in 4000 approx. but I did that all on my own & the total expense

was about 3000 with all the efforts & time consumed...so I guess

find a connection & do it that way it saves u time as well

doing it on ur own isn't a good idea & I am telling you

because I did it...so go other way round..there must be some friend

    of yours..

  7. hey pearl...nice to knw he is finally flying out

now according to aviation rules if the transit is less than 10 hours than

there shouldn't be any issue.. but if more than airline is liable to

provide passengers accommodation (for that obviously they'll get out

of the airport) but else all is good..

that travel agent is juz plain ignorant i guess.. try some1 else

    have a safe one

  8. If by any chance you get some time off busy schedule then read the mentioned post from DWHEELS76

then go to my profile & go through my time line

so that you get an idea of what I am taking about

and what you should do in order to go for a "SPOUSE VISA"

though I hope you are applying a spouse visa of USA and not of any other country

what I said was because I have gone through the process

& ya I am serious as I should be on here

get your facts in order for the "spouse visa" first

I hope you are not expecting that Department of Immigration will come to your place

and stamp your visa at home...

  9. Congrates on I-130 approval.. now NVC contact you when they get your case file & assigns a case no.

the best idea is to flood NVC with everything you have in terms of civil documents etc.

you authorize him on your behave by filling out 3032..and then submit

    Birth Certificate

    PCC

    Affidavit of Support with W-2

Affidavit from people who attended the ceremony or know your relation (at least 2 from each side)

    Education documents

Wedding & Valima Pictures (atleast 5 from each ceremony keep rest for the interview)

Proof of on-going relationship (phone logs, chat logs, skype logs or watever you have to show its in good faith)

His passport copy with a copy of entry & exit stamps

    Wedding invitation card

And if you can add up anything more or get a suggestion from VJ'z

Remember flooding them with information is never a bad idea at NVC stage.

    Stay Blessed

  10. NO, Part of Pakistan is not a issue. I do think they do AP for 99% for Male in Pak.

Well I say you pretty much right as there is no logical answer

anyone can ever able to give why he/she is been put in AP even

    after maintaining all paperwork accordingly.

Pak in whole.. Alien Spouse Male..these two issues are

concerning enough for CO's at ISB.. but hey

you can't help it right so chill..everything has a right time to happen

and you won't make it before...

  11. Can you please give some expert advices over this,

I have done my Medical on 21st November 2012 (If I am not wrong validity is 6 months right?)

My visa expires on 8th June 2013, now If I enter US on 5th June means my Medical is already expired on 21st April 2013

Will there be any problem at PoE because of that or they will let me through??

    Kind Regards

  12. & the final news on the mentality of CO's at ISB regarding K-1's & CR-1's

the only candidate among the 4 been interviewed on 17th & 18th on CR-1

has been approved without AP.. (K**&F**)

now guys think about it seriously.. CR-1 is giving embassy less headaches

so less AP's for that status..

  13. and u r soooo right!!!! i have two girls in my own family who had only nikkah first and had rukhsati after visaa and they were not asking ANYTHING got the visa in one go.. n tht just happened recently few mnths ago.. i think CO asks it if he there is a red flag or sth

btw they had a reallly simple nikkahh and mine ws really nice and decent we exchanged rings signed nikkah, and even had cake cuttin ceremony n hold handing n hes takin me out wid him lol :) in the end

Rings exchanged..Cake cutting..holding hands taking you out..

well seems natural but yet you can not be sure of what going on in CO's mind

He's accompanying you at interview...well huge bonus i would say..

Wish you all the best

  14. Thank-you for your words!! :)

Don't worry you sure will gonna get out of this soon...

Terrorists are not exclusive to the North, and they are not exclusive to Pakistan. This theory just isn't true.

Well this pretty much deserves to be the popular post in my point of view..

You explained it right through but yet just in one sentence.. gud on ya bro.

    Stay Blessed
