  1. Thank you all for the information! I keep hearing not to reschedule but was planning on calling the 1800 USCIS number. I can also setup a infopass appointment at my local USCIS office and see if they can help me? No did not change any addresses. We are planning on going the day before. It's just that my parents don't speak good English, so I need to translate for them. I hope they allow that.
  2. When you search my zip code, there is a closer location available. I've been to the close USCIS office multiple times and that's where I became a US Citizen as well. So SUPER confused on why we are being asked to drive 5+ hours away.
  3. I, US Citizen, applied for my mother and father with I-130 and I-485. We have been requested for an interview, however it's about 6 hours from our house! We live in Houston and there is a USCIS office here and I been there for other interviews. Do you guys know why this is happening at another location and/or if the location if the interview can be changed? If so, how? Any feedback w ill be appreciated as our interview is in 2.5 weeks.
  4. My parents and I live in Texas. My parents overstayed their visa and were unable to adjust their status till I became a US Citizen 2023. I filed for them in August 2023 and now an interview is requested. Do I get to go to the interview with them? If yes, do I have to request this? My parents do not speak good English so I will need to help transalate.
  5. Biometrics were just completed and status changed to USCIS reviewing case.
  6. Filed August 15, Received Biometrics appointment dated September 9, on online account.
  7. I just filed for my parents and they are from India too. I read in another forum someone got an RFE and they submitted their parents wedding card. I would also upload any pictures from the weddings you may have. I uploaded their wedding photos on a word document and wrote a sentence about who was in the picture. I would 100% do this because the more data you send the better. If you are obviously in a rush, go ahead. But I made sure to send everything first, including the i693 because I don't want an RFE. Hope this helps.
