  1. The interview was pretty straight forward. Definitely not what I was expecting but hey I'm not complaining. I got there 5 minutes before my 12:30 scheduled interview time (long story). I was called in 20 minutes later. IO was very pleasant greeted me and walked me into his office. Got in he asked me to remaining standing so I could be sworn in. After swearing in we went over my application to make sure everything was ok. He verified the shelling of my names since I am also doing a name change ( middle names). He checked my passport and greencard to make sure everything was as stated on my application I guess. After he asked me to read a question 'what country is north of the United States?' Then he gave me the answer and had me write it. Then he asked me the history questions I answered the first 6 correctly so he stopped. He told me that he was approving my case and I'd be getting a letter in the mail as to when the date of my oath ceremony is going to be. Didn't ask to see any additional supporting documents

  2. Hello Vjers, i have questions regarding form I-75I.

1.In the Part 3 section 6.f it says postal code. What is the different with section 6.e (zip code)?

    2. Our child was born in the US during our marriage. Should I put her in Part 4?

    3. If the answer is yes, since i only have 1 child right now, should I put NONE in the CHILD 2, 3, 4 &5 section?

    4. For the proof of evidance such as bank statement, How many are they should i submit?

I really appreciate with all the help. Thanks

If you live in the United States you put your zip code. Other countries like canada use postal codes. Yes you add her cause they asked and you put none in the other spaces if you have no other children
  3. Hey,

i just read the situation from the Top.

And i must say that exactly the same thing happened to me.

I filed my I-485 about 2 months ago, i kept ckeckin my onine case status, it first said request for evidence. so i was waiting on a notification.

Today i checked again and i saw that they Produced the card? document. So i was wondering because i havent have a interview or my biometrics, i thought something could be wrong, so me n my Husband called at the customer Service n he told us that everything has been aprroved, they are goin to send my green card. Still cant believe it because it is soo fast. Hope the officer didnt give us any wrong informtation.

You could have possibly gotten wrong info. Your application can be approved without an interview but almost impossible for it to be approved without biometrics. Biometrics are done in order to run background checks. Stay on top of it cuz it's not possible. They'll make they corrections eventually

  4. Hello everyone,

Only one week left till my interview on November 5th. My case is more complicated than others as my wife lives in a different state. She is going to school there. I came to the US on student visa and currently working for a company on H1b visa. I got married in May, 2011. So far I have accumulated following evidence

    - Joint tax return for 2011

    - My spouses bank account statement showing that I have been sending money to her for her expenses

    - Joint car loan

    - Receipts from her dentist showing that my insurance paid for her medical procedures. It also proves that she spends the summer and all her vacations with me as those procedures took place in the city I live

    - Letter from my employer confirming she is on my medical insurance and the primary

    recipient of my life insurance

    - Proof of several air trips that we made to each other

    - Over 100 pictures of our wedding and other occasion

    - Over 100 pages of Facebook messages that we sent each other from the time we started dating around 2 years and 10 months ago

    - Email, Skype and cell phone records of our communication

    - Cell phone bill showing we have a family plan

    - Email communication that took place between employers in my spouses state and I showing that I have been trying to get a job there but couldn't get it because no employer was ready to file for H1b.

Is there anything else that I can add to substantiate my case? Any tips or pointers will be appreciated. Thank you!

You have more than enough evidence. Everything will be ok and your interview will go just fine
