We've been united here in the US for 12 days and it has been wonderful! It is such a good feeling to be with each other during the holidays.

Approved! It took a little over 3 hours and he and his daughter was approved! (Sorry I'm so late to announce, I had some serious issues with consistent internet access during my trip. We also had some bad family issues that took priority.) I'll post the interview details soon. Thanks for the support!

Medical exam done! Only 5 days before I get there and 11 days before his interview. I'll be there joining him.

His medical appointment is tomorrow. We hope that is it still on, even though the hurricane hit today. Many places are without power. Urgh! We are staying positive and inspired!

In our situation, we are filed for a K-1 and are doing all of the required paperwork to get his daughter's visa now. Yes, that means paying the fee, getting her passport and her medical (which is good for one year). We found out that the visa will be good for 6 months, so we are looking at her spring and summer break dates. If visa is estimated to expire while she is on spring break we will have her visit at least once. This way it will look good that she came and returns without issu...

Ok, his medical is scheduled for 10/25... I'll be there a few days later. Then the interview on 11/05. I've been waiting on this and now it feels like it is moving so fast, only because I have a ton of stuff to do before he gets here. But I'm excited!

Just trying to get through this thing one day at a time. Working on getting my home "together" for both of us. I'm so stressed though.

We finally have an interview date... Monday, Nov. 5th at 9:30 PM!!! I had to call the Department of State. Still haven't heard it from the Kingston Embassy. Now, I have to get that appointment letter in our hands!

No. I'm trying to find out how to get this information. He picked up the packet 3 on 08/14 and we emailed the DS-230 form on 08/24. We've been checking email and they said give them 5 days to respond but nothing. Any tips? Everyone else seems to be getting the date faster than us. Did we miss something?
