I'm currently serving with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. In April 2012, I was selected to go to Morocco with 14th Marines for 3 week annual training event with Moroccan Royal Army. By the end of the training evolution we got liberty in Agadir and I went to the beach with a couple other Marines. That is where I saw her and thanks to some Arabic I learned off the Moroccan soldiers I was able to gain her attention. I spent that evening with her, as well as the next day. The last day I was there I was ordered to work so my plans to see her again were cancelled. Nevertheless, I went back to the states with her in my heart. A month later, in May, I was on a plane on my own headed for Morocco to be with her. Within the first week I was there I just knew I had to marry her. (I don't know how, but you just know) We were finally married on 14 June. I had exhausted my finances, we were unable to have a ceremony, and I was already there nearly 3 times longer than I had planned. But I stayed until our marriage was finalized. Sadly, I had to return to the U.S. the day after we got married. So here I am just waiting for her visa to be approved and by the grace of God we will be reunited soon.
Oh waw Congrats your wife had the Interview the same day as my husband. He told me he was the only men in the consulate with 4 girls & only one of them wasn't approved that day. Yay finally we will be reunited soon with our family. Thank you god.
