  1. I wouldn't be posting wrong info's if it didn't happen to me before (in my case it was a different type of visa)

And it depends who'll accept the documents. Some may accept the personal copy and some may not. That's why most of the time they tell applicants to make sure top and bottom are still attached. Thank you.

  2. Is this really true? How come those files get soaked when plumbing pipes are supposed to be embedded on concrete or recessed on walls. Unless the walls have cracks on it and they did not put enough water proofing. And they should have let everyone affected know about the situation immediately so we all can gather every necessary documents needed and start moving forward.

  3. I too had primary complex when I was young (I think) plus I had broncho-pneumonia when I was 14. But I'm suffering from severe asthma since I was a kid until now. I'm planning to get my self checked for any complications due to that...

Anyway, I heard you can have a GP write a recommendation letter or something for lung xrays and serum test. So you'll know which vaccines you'll be needing. If you can get one earlier the better as most doctors will recommend that you not try to conceive a baby within 4months of getting your vaccines to deter complications on the baby.

Good luck and hope we all pass the medicals. That's the most nerve wracking part of this journey! blush.gif

  7. Hi there! :) Don't stress too much it won't do good on your baby!

I know deployments are pretty hard. I've been in more than 7deployments with my fiance for the past 2years. Lucky for us now, its over, well actually for just 3years he'll be on shore duty. After that we don't know if he'll be going on sea duty again or get out of the service. But that's enough time to settle with the marriage and family. Sometimes, it feels like I'm used to deployments and all those stuff that comes with that. But every deployments comes differently. The last one we had was really painful and hard for me. We were having problems. One after another. But we made it through.

I've experienced watching the news 24/7 because he went on deployment when North and South Korea was on the brink of war. Then the tsunami and earthquake in Japan happened which forced them to evacuate. The day Japan was hit by the earthquake I was buying my plane tickets going to Japan. After that, everything went blank. We kept on hoping that everything will go back to normal and when it finally did. I didn't waste anytime and immediately flew to Japan to be with J and look after him since it really did affected most of them. No electricity, military family members esp the kids were forced to leave Japan and only servicemen were left to help with the search and rescue. I remember they called it as Operation Tomadatchi. And one time I visited him during his liberty call in Singapore. We were supposed to be together for 3 days. It got cut off. Thailand needed their help and they were immediately recalled. hehe. Military life it is!

Anyway, I've found this amazing blog about military spouses. Thought you might want to read it.

You're strong. You and your baby will be more than alright.

Smile. Its good for the baby! :)

  8. So my fiance and I have almost finished putting together our K-1 visa petition package together. However there is a slight problem. We need evidence of an ongoing relationship and we do have emails, but few phone records (because I didn't keep most of them :( ). We do have some evidence of chatting online together, but we don't have much evidence of that either. How important is the evidence of an ongoing relationship? Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I include a letter explaining the lack of evidence?

    Thanks in advance

Scan copies of plane tickets, boarding passes and hotel receipts. If you have letters (snail mails) scan them too. Pictures (make sure you put the names of the people in the picture, place and date). Emails, you can send all of them or you can just pick a few.
