  1. Our interview was March 11, 2014 and still waiting. Same k1/k2 the next day after interview the K2 says AP. So what does that admin processing mean? How long does that generally take? They still have her passport to and did not require any further proof at interview.

    Thanks!

AP on my perspective means that the Embassy needs more time to contemplate if the person is worthy of the visa...I was on AP for 3 weeks without any additional documents asked...

  2. You can wait as long as you can until it will be delivered smile.png ..

If you have checked the status of ur visa at ceac website and u are not put on AP, it should not take long. But there are cases that even if the case was not put on AP, still it took them few weeks to have their visa...

You should check the status of it at ceac website and perhaps call the Embassy to get answers.

And no, you Don't have to pay for the mailing of the visa,,

  3. Update: went to health department for my follow up medical, and I met the girl I spoke on the phone and says my medical paper works hasn't arrived yet at health department , same paper works I have in my hands now. So she knows the process. Hehehe. Whenever she receive my paper works she will give me a call and do same thing I did at st. Lukes (sputum test and culture).

So, they will call u when your medical paper works arrive...Just like they did to me...

What I had on our health department here was Sputum AFB smear, Sputum MTB Culture and TB Blood Tests...

    Good luck on that

  4. I had the same experience too. Although, i do not remember receiving any paper that says i need a medical follow up, our local health clinic called me 1 week upon my arrival and informed me that i have a doctor's appointment the following week.

Probably, they will call you in the following days...

  5. Sending update guys,

I called st lukes today instead of march 17 which is monday and a very nice lady i spoke me to go back next week. Is this a good news? I thank God for keeping me strong and my hubby during this hard times and my prayers to all of u guy too! God is always good!

Yes, it is a good news!...Congrats!

  6. It says in the letter that they will contact the beneficiary. Will they keep us still on the loop ( petitioner)? What I meant to ask is, will they notify us whatever correspondence they sent to the beneficiary? I am just worried coz after yolanda hit our place, we still haven't got our phone lines back and their cellphone signal there is not totally reliable yet. Not sure about how the postal service is too.

They will notify u thru email...don't worry...they won't call or send a snail mail to ur address

  7. you mean i need to file a separate I-130 for our child, i thought we just need to file k4 for her. thanks for the info

Here is the CRBA topic..Basahin mo sis para malaman mo kung ano dapat ggagawin mo para wla ka nang dagdag gastos sa visa ng kid mo. Believe me, may na delay ang visa dahil sabi sa US Embassy, kailangan ng kid nya ang CRBA at hindi Visa kasi anak siya ng US Citizen

  8. you mean i need to file a separate I-130 for our child, i thought we just need to file k4 for her. thanks for the info

I don't think u need to file for a visa for your child especially when the Father is the USC, the Petitioner. All u need to do for ur child is apply for CRBA at the Embassy, then they will give her the US Passport...a US passport is all she need not any visa..

  9. Oh my god. It took TWO YEARS to process your CR1? That is completely unacceptable. I filed on July 25th 2013 and got an RFE in Nov after having my case transferred from the Missouri Service Center to the Texas Service Center. At the end of Jan 2014, they said my approval is awaiting a security check. This is ridiculous. A security check on who? USCIS is screwed up and we need to demand accountability from the head of USCIS. Alejandro stated his mission was to streamline USCIS and the exact opposite has happened.

Yes, it was really a long wait. I was glad that i have a lot of patience and a very supportive husband....and it's worth the wait...smile.png

  10. Hi krispykreme,

Thank you for your response, for the medical results? Do they send it right away to the US embassy for his interview? or I have to tell them when he gets his interview date?

Hi Techy& kikay did you do the same process?

    Hi Vic2or,

Do you know what's the website I should go to schedule?

It's a first come-first serve basis, but you can pre register online to save time filling up forms at St. Luke's.
