Good Day!
I am positive on TB skin test. The doctor told me that I have to undergo a medication for 6 months to prevent my tb infection to become active. But I took my medication for 2 months only and stop taking the medicines. My questions are: Since I stop my medication, does it mean that my skin test tb positive is already worse? Does my TB infection will become an active TB already? And should I go back to the doctor to ask another medication again? And should I tell the doctors in Manila that I had been positive to tb skin test and I had been treated. Should I bring the copies of the medical records about positive skin test as proof that I am already treated? Or should I just not say anything at all because I heard from others that there no problem having positive in skin test as long as my x-ray is ok?
Thank You & MABUHAY!!!
First up, why did you stop taking the medication? It was given to you for a reason. And then you're gonna try to cover it up? Had you continue on with the prescribed medication, you'll only be a PPD converter and you'll be a converter for life, mind you. You're putting yourself and others at risk. I think the best thing to do is go back to the doctor and restart your medicine intake. Once you do that, you'll get better, your conscience will be clear and you'll have nothing to worry about. It's integrity my friend. INTEGRITY.

Find comfort to the fact that at least you know your case is being worked on. Your day will eventually come.

Congratulations! Glory be to God!
My finacee is doing her interview as we speak. I pray for good result. Same thing to those who are having their interview with her today.

I pray not only for this week's interview but for all those who truly love each other and can no longer wait to start their lives together. I thank God for this website and the lovely people who believe in the Love and Power of God Almighty.
May God hear our prayers and grant our requests according to His riches and faithfulness!

I can't believe we're finally here! My husband has his interview at the London embassy in less than 5 hours from now! He'll be getting his train into London in about two hours to be in line at the embassy by about 7:15am GMT (which is 11:15pm PST where I am in California). How does he expect me to be able to sleep while this is all happening?? We are both so excited...and a little nervous even though we are sure everything will go smoothly. Just can't believe that in less than 6 months we've gone from NOA 1 to Interview! I feel so blessed and over the moon that we FINALLY get to be together forever in under 2 weeks from now. Yay!!
Wish us luck guys!!
:D :D
Kinda misleading here. I htought the interview took 5 hours. Congratulations anyway!

On what grounds are you trying to expedite your case? That's a big big factor in determining the legitimacy of your request.
And it's under the Director's discretion.

I was interviewed last September 10,2012 in the US embassy manila. I'm not so sure if I pass or fail the interview:(
The CO didn't say anything that my visa was approved. The last words he mentioned is that: Your papers look good, take your sit and wait for the final instructions. My number was called at window 72, the Filipino employee asked me did the CO fingerprinted you?I said Yes,left index finger. He said OK. Then he asked again if 2Go pickup or delivery? I answered delivery. My fiance was with me during my interview he was confused because I didn't signed or pay anything for the delivery. And I'm not so sure If I did pass the interview. They have my passport and all my other documents like the DS forms. It's been 21 working days since my interview and I'm so worried about this. I don't have my visa yet:(. My friends got their visas 2 weeks after the interview. Have you guys encountered any issues like this? Thanx.
From what I know, you don't have to pay for the delivery of your visa. It's included in the interview fee. But I think it's better to go back to the Embassy to inquire. Or maybe call them. 21 days is too long not unless you're in the boondocks.

I searched if I could find an answer throughout the forum but couldn't find exactly an answer to my case.
My fiance', soon to be husband, is in the AirForce and based in Anchorage, AK. He was trying to get info on what to do/show at work after we get married. He was told that it would be better if I could get "command sponsorship" since Alaska is officially considered "Overseas" altho it is still US (doh, this confuses me sooo much!)
His supervisors said that to get it I would need to be an AK resident or perhaps it'd be enough having an AK driving license..
To be honest, to me, it all sounds so confusing so was wondering if any of you knows more and could enlighten us? Thank you all!
First up, where are you coming from? If you're coming from California then you will need to have Command Sponsorship. You have to be Medically cleared to go to Alaska. Once you're all good with medical your husband's command will pay for your ticket to fly. Now, if you're already in Alaska, you still need to get command sponsorship to avail all the benefits. Otherwise, you will have to shoulder medical/dental expenses you may incur. With that, command sponsorhip is the way to go.
Tell your husband to seek legal advice from his higher ups. Good luck!

Hi I'm karren from philippines and I want to ask help if there's someone familiar or have any idea about applying for tourist visa with sponsorship or invitation from my boyfriend in US. My boyfriend came here for vacation last september and he wants me to visit him next their in US. im planning to apply a tourist visa for my vacation in US. i want my application to be good and hopefully be approved. what can you advice me to do or to prepare for me to have a high chance of being approved for the tourist visa once i applied. thanks in advance.
Sorry to say that you have to have a substantial amount of money/property to get approved for a tourist visa. Given the history of "illegals" who went hiding after getting to the States. And do you know what happens if they disapprove you?
Then your fiance applies for a K1? It will be a blackeye on your history. If you have loads of money and can prove it to the Consul go right ahead. If not, wait for a petition.

Hi everyone!! Hubby and I are very excited as our interview is coming and the plan is for him to travel home with me!
My husband wants to bring some food stuff from Nigeria to the USA but I am not sure if there are any restrictions for importing stuff to the USA. For those who know what is allowed in I would appreciate your insight as to what kind of veggies or foodstuff they allow or ones you know that they do not, so, we can prevent any holdups.
Thanks everyone!! Good Luck for everyone having October interviews coming up!! It's getting exciting!!
DON'T DO IT UNLESS YOU WANT A MAJOR HEADACHE.

The ex-husband passed on. With that, there are no more obligations. Why does it matter whether they lived together or not. Best thing to do is bring a certified copy of death certificate. BTW, I hope that this was on the G-325. If it is, then, I don't foresee any entanglement. BREATHE!

As long as you're divorced and you cna prove the legitimacy of your new marriage. There's nothing to worry about. That's the beauty of FREEDOM!
-
That's what I did when I submitted my I-129F. And I even requested for an expedition and they granted my request. I didn't keep my boarding passes so the only thing I have is the passport stamps which I circled.

I already have a Verification of Employment that states how much I make. And yes, I will include my LES's along with the affidavit of support. I just wanted to make sure our case will go smoothly.
Thanks!

Can somebody give an insight on salary and taxes?
I'm in the military and I get a lot of allowances that are tax-free.
My 2011 W2 stated I made $24K but my real salary was $7K+ a month. It's a huge disparity in figures.
I was in a tax-free zone being in the Middle East.
My question is this: WILL THIS BE AN ISSUE when my fiancee gets interviewed.
Your reply will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. I called NVC today and they informed me that my package has been forwarded to US Embassy Manila. Yeah yay!

The internet is not the only means to get an appointment. You can call it in.
Good luck!

If your Priority Date meets the most recent Qualifying Date, the NVC will:
Invoice you for your visa application fees
Collect your visa application and supporting documentation
Hold your visa petition until an interview can be scheduled with a consular officer at a U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate General abroad.
If your Priority Date DOES NOT meet the most recent Qualifying Date, the NVC will notify you and hold your petition until your Priority Date meets the most recent Qualifying Date. The Department of State updates the Qualifying Dates on a monthly basis.

The above is an excerpt from NVC Website. My question is: What if you don't have a priority date written on your NOA2 as in my case. I'm in the military and I requested for my K1 to be expedited which USCIS granted. I called NVC and got my MNL#. I'm just wondering, will NVC hold my case? Please throw in your two cents here. Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. But I think you let yourself suffer long enough. I can't even fathom the fact that you still gave her chances. You have a good heart but as your moniker says, it's time to take action. I might sound a little too harsh but she DOES NOT deserve anything good. BANISH her to her "world". Users should be treated as such. There's plenty of good women out there that deserve your kind. More power to you and do whatever you can for her to be deported back to her true love. An eye for an eye my friend!

The USCIS's requirement is that, you have to have met or seen your fiance(e) within 2 years. No mention of prolonged or several times of being together. Hope this helps!

It means, you need to wait for the letter and follow the instructions stated there. To me, it sounds like they're going to tell you the proper procedures on how make your application complete. This is a good thing. Good luck!
