Just wanted to say HI to every one that is sharing the same journey as us, and maybe a place to sound off.......this has been a long and difficult road for us....
*the strain of being separated, our lives are on hold
*i just dont understand WHY Vermont is sooooo slow to process petitions, while Cali SC is zipping thru em
*every one asking on my side and hers " when is she coming or when are you going to USA" ....I do know most are asking out of concern, but it it makes us miss each other all the more,
I could go on and on,
Anyways, feel free to say "hi" if you are in this together with us or maybe just share info or concerns.
I sincerely wish a accelerated processing of each and every ones petition and a very blessed and life long Matrimonial Bond for us all.

Sorry to hear you got RFE'd....Just a suggestion, these are the questions I used to summarize our meeting and relationship.....we are still waiting tho, cuz we had to file thru that Blasted Vermont SC.....but hope it helps:

c. Dates(s) you met Face to Face. From when to when? And Where?
d. Date marriage was proposed and agreed to.

Hi,
I signed a petition to The United States House of Representatives and The United States Senate which says:
"We and our families have been waiting too long for our immigration petitions to be reviewed. Speed up processing the backlog of applications (specifically at the Vermont Servicing Center) so we don't have to wait to be with our families"
Will you sign this petition? Click here:

Why is VSC sooooo slow??
Thanks!

Thanks Dave,
I am well above the income requirements.....but to tell the truth, my disposable income as been strained by this economy and keeping my business afloat. Also my adult children have been effected by this downward economy and required some help from dad. So, these are my reasons for not being able to visit more than once.
However, on paper my income is good....and actually, I am planning on working another job here soon and keep business alive also.
I really shouldn't have a problem in this area.
Thank you for advice and info.
-
WOW...... and thank you so much for sharing......that is wonderful for you both......Congratulations and God Bless!!!!
-
Thank you again and more replies from one time visit petitioners advice and stories would be appreciated.
-
Thank you for the replies....I have read every requirement several times, and fulfilled them all and exceeded most.....I do understand that they will not be interested in our 1000 pics, but only a handful.
As I am debating these ppl that insist that I visit more than once...... "I have met all requirement, and if 2 or more visits were required, it would be stated in the I-129F instructions".
It's just all this discussion on the subject make one wonder......what if.......of course we don't want to be denied and go thru this again or even extend out the process any long than necessary.
I also have probably close to 100 pages or more of our constant communication from Yahoo, Skype video chat log, Skype calls to her cell phone and text messages, receipts for flowers, etc.
My fiancee is a bit concerned also, well maybe more than a bit, of how she will answer and how the consulor will respond to only one visit, when asked. I've told her to just tell the truth.
I just wanted to hear from folks that were successful or not, with only one visit and what happened.
Thank you all, and a special thank you to Azteca143

That is wonderful!!!!.....best of blessings to you both.

How important is it to the governing bodies (immigration, consular, etc.) that the sponsor visits his/her fiancee in their country more than once. Is one visit sufficient, or will the consular or whom ever, see this as a issue?..... I've been told by others (not here in VJ) that it could be a problem proving a genuine relationship.
Is there anyone out there that has visited their fiancee only once and still received the VISA, and what problems arose from only one visit?...if any
We do have all receipts, itinerary, etc. over 1000 pics of ourselves and with family and friends during my 2 week stay, records of all our twice daily communications from Skype, Yahoo and cell phones.
This is the only issue of concern, we are great on everything else..... is it imperative to make more than 1 visit?
Also, I do have good reasons for only 1 trip, but will they listen and consider my reasons?
Thanks,
Mick n Leila

Yeah, it didn't sound right to me either......but appreciate the response Jay-Kay.....
-
I read here somewhere that if I was to call a public official (Senator, Congressman) that they could speed up the waiting process.....is this true??.....and what would I say? " Hello Sir, could you push my petition thru quicker?"
-
Thank you everyone for clearing things up...it gets a little worrisome with all that needs to be done.....I try to be self-sufficient and not bother folks, but I got to say, its great that ya'll are out there, when needed......THANK YOU AGAIN

Hi all, we are new here. I have tried to find the answer here, but its somewhat confusing with so much info and everyone's different circumstances. I'm in the USA, she (fiancee) is in the Philippines and we are waiting for the NOA2 for our K1 visa...... Q is, does she pay the visa fee in the Philippines at the time of her interview or do i pay here in USA?... and what $ amount is it?....I've read from $88 to $380....
Also, at the time when arrives in the USA with me, and after we marry and we file for Adjustment Of Status within the 90 days.....do we pay the fee at that time?.....what is this fee?? ( i read $1070)......and when we file for AOS, is this also applying for the green card at the same time??
My head is spinning from so much reading, please help if you can, or direct me to the correct info or link.
Thank you in advance,
Mick and Leila
