I just did Interview on 28 August at 9.30 am. I am no longer in F2A category, but I've spent 99% of my time on VJ in this forum, and have had so much support, help and encouragement from all of you that I wanted to share the happy news here too.

I called them on July 10 and the guy on the phone was trying to explain me that all completed cases are on hold to be scheduled for an interview, and that they are waiting available dates from American embassy in Albania, he also told me that I can expect an email anytime when i asked him when will we receive the interview. On July 11 we received the email with the I/L, we are so happy?!!

No one has received IL? My PD is Aug 29, 2011 and our case is complete but no IL yet, I don't know if they are still scheduling interviews

You have to wait for the next run of the Visa Bulletin because that's when they send out the interview letters (every first week of the month).

Oh, I see ?, so basically they are done for this month they dont schedule any interview even though my PD is Aug 29 and the visa bulletin says that the cut off date is Oct 8?

I got a checklist for my IV package The checklist doesn't make sense to me, but I don't really have any other choice but to respond to it. I am sad that this is going to delay our case complete, but maybe we still have a chance for an August interview.

Hi Athena I hope everything goes well with your case. I just wanted to uptade you in my case which was completed last week because we sent the documents late cus I was waiting from IRS to assign an ITIN number for my husbund and as soon as they did I ordered the transcript and we sent all the document and the case got complete just 2 weeks after. Today I called NVC to find out for the interview and the lady told me : " now we are in June and for June we are scheduling people with PD Jun 8 2011, you should wait until the end of july to have and interview schedule". Is it how it works? I didnt really understand, anyways I hope you get a case complete and reunite with your family?

Woow thats a big movemnet, I guess i have to start calling them everyday, my PD is Aug 29 and my case is complete. If I call them and they tell me no visa available, for how long do they continue to schedule interviews? Does this continues until the next visa bulletin?

I called NVC, no IL yet, my PD is Aug, 29,2011, I saw someone with PD Aug 31 got the interview and I thought I could call but they told me they are working on cases till Jun 8

i just wanted some help about the ITIN issuance. My husband sent my signed w7 and ORIGINAL psssport to IRS in AUstin.

It has been advised not to send the original docs to IRS as they might lose it. But unfortunately he had sent them already. :bonk: And i am worried if i will ever get it back. it has been just about 2 weeks already and it may take up to 60 days....

do any of you had this experience? i just want to know if there is a greater chance of me having my passport back.

We did the same thing, we maild his passport on March 22 and they return it to me just 2 days ago, I am the petitioner and I was worried too in the beginning, but they return it to me, be aware that if you included a envelope that is certified they will not return it with that envelope, instead they will use theirs so i was not able to track it. Dont worry, i dont think they will lose it, just give it a couple of more weeks and if you dont receive it, then call them.

If both bills are appearing as PAID in the payment portal, you're able to send in the packages. You need to read the guides here on VJ on what to send. Don't waste any more weeks waiting on NVC. Like I suggested earlier, click on the last 2 links in my signature. They contain all the information you need.

Yes both bills appear as PAID, so you suggest i start doing the documents ready and NVC dont send you anything? Can you plese put the links here again because i wasnt able to find them

I have a question. I am the petitioner and paid both bills, what do I to do next? Do I wait for NVC to contact me, I paid the immigrant application fee in the begining of the March and I dont know what to do next, will they send me the list of documents i need to submit?

I also got my NOA2 in Jan 3 2013 and my PD is August 2011 and i had applied at VSC under F2A catergory, which is far away from people with PD in Jan or Feb 2011 tht havent been approved yet.I couldnt believe at the begining but now my case is at NVC. One thing im learning from this long waiting stressful process, that they are upredictable and you can never lose your hopes! Good luck every one

We still haven't heard anything from USCIS, and the processing times at VSC continue to be stuck at January 2011. I am starting to think that our petition will not go anywhere until my husband becomes a citizen. He has just done his biometrics this week, and it's possible that he could have his interview next month and the oath in May. I had really hoped we'd have a completed case by the time he naturalizes, but I don't see that happening now. On the positive side, I am still confident that we'll be together before the end of the year!

I would have to wait 3 more years to become citizen and if I wasn't approved now I would have lost my hopes with VSC. Fjoal and guvnor, how is your NVC process going?

I have completed AOS and Immigrant Visa Application Fee bill and DS 3032, waiting be contacted by NVC to go to the next step, how are things going with USCIS??

It's the usual routine to email the documents to both petitioner and the pricipal applicant; and you won't be receiving any hard copy again.

Its faster to just have the applicant email the DS3032 directly to NVC, either a typed-out copy(template on this website) or a scanned copy of the form.

Received AOS bill and DS3032 today.

I received them too on Jan 29. Im a little confused about the form, I am the petitioner and they send me both emails for AOS and the DS3032 as email attachements, not the applicant, i havet received any hard copy, should i be expecting any hard copy? About the form, the aplicant needs to fill it out and send it to me first and then I send it from my mailing address to the mailing address provided for the form DS 3032, or he has to send it from his address from Albania directly to them?

I asked this question myself, how come I got approved? When I received the approval email I couldnt believe what I was reading so I hoped VSC had started to move and wanted to share good news with all you guys that are waiting for almost 2 years now for NOA2. I understand that there are people with PD before mine and yet are not approved, but I believe that they are working on cases with PD up to aug or sep2011 at least and wait for a date to send most of NOA2. I also believe that there are many people who do not participate this forum and we dont know anything about their cases. I would like to believe that our case was mixed up with other cases that they approve at th moment but that will be such a great luck for us and I cant believe we are that lucky, anyways the good days are coming, hope everyone start posting good news

I hope you too get approved honey, me and my husband we never put a SR or either email them and we got approved, now I am waiting for NVC to contact me, I think we only got lucky, but they really need to be pushed by everyone. you should hear from VSC really soon, believing makes the faith, God is going to reunite you with your husband. I recently got approved , my PD is Aug 2011, I received the aproval notice in my mail box from USCIS a few days ago and that I will be contacted by NVC, should I contact them first or wait until they contact me?

You've got every reason to be happy!!! Enjoy your NOA2 and start preparing for NVC if you haven't already. I keep my fingers crossed that that our petition is in the same box as yours was and we'll also hear something soon I can't wait to be done with USCIS.
