Hi,
I'm prep for interview docs. I assume everything that I sent to NVC i should bring to the interview. Does anyone know if this applies to G325As and I130 forms?
-
I'm so thrilled! My P4 is finally here after 9 months (getting close to my 10th month) process! And I'm schedule to fly to China in Oct! Yay!
I just want to thank everyone who helped me on processing my case. You guys are wonderufl people though we've never met! So friendly so helpful so speedy replying my posts!! Thank you thank you....thank you!!!
God bless you all!

you can frontload stuff to the embassy yourself.. read this post.
thanks unlockingsky! I've read it so many times and did not find specific stuff that I'm looking for. the only stuff that I'll be adding to my nvc docs are just chatting logs and most recent paystubs/assets to see if they're accepetable. But those topics were not discovered from that post. Thanks for your comment!
It doesn't hurt to bring a few more, but I wouldn't go overboard. Most of the time they don't even look at them.
yeah i got that a lot from reading the other people's experience! Very interesting...thanks hawkeyez!

I printed all of our photos using my color laser printer on regular 8.5 x 11 paper...had no issues.
oh good! i think this is what I am planning to do too! Thanks so much!

does anyone know if it would be a problem if i bring more pictures/chatting logs (for example: QQ chatting history) than what I have sumitted to NVC to the guangzhou interview. Or do they have to be consistantly throughout the whole process. I wanted to bring more trips photos to the interview. But I remember some people in forum sugguest not to bring too much paper to confuse them. Just wondering if it would be the problem for the photo issue.
And photos have to be costco prints? or would they accept them if i print all my pictures in paper (color of course)? And lastly employment letter/paystubs/assets - do any of you give them the most recent ones at the time of interview? Would it matter if they're the same paper that we've sent? No need to update?
Appreicate your inputs!

I got stuck the same quesiton when I went through AOS. So basically if you're using your assets to apply for beneficiary, you should use form i-864ez only. But if you're not sure, then use I864 in general. NVC would accept it as well.
-
GUZ P shortcut doesnot include what needs to include in the package.
If I'm reading it correctly here is what you need to prepare for:
1)Form 169
2)DS230
4)I864
5)copes of beneficiary's passoport.
I'm waiting for P3 to come too! good luck!

since her casefile is at NVC, it's the right time to get both of these things.
What's the holdup?
She doesn't need to mail them to you - is easy to get into a copy shop in China, have these things scanned to PDF, and sent off via email to you...
Thanks Darnell for your quick response! I just don't know how long it usually takes to get them done in China. Just out of curiosity, how long the beneficiary allows to stay in china after interview? is there a time limit she would have to come to usa after she passes the interview.

I got 2 RFEs today from NVC.
1) Beneficiary's Passport.
2) Police Cert.
Just wondering if anyone tried to email NVC and asked them to move these 2 RFEs to a later date (at the time of interview). Would they usually ok on these 2 items?
-
thanks for your quick reply! I will try to scan in jpeg to see if the size will be smaller.
I didn't know NVC is accepting link too. good point, maybe i should get one just in case jpeg is not working either.

anyone knows how to compress PDF down to 25MB? I currently have PDF/Tiff about 55MB and I tried to zip. It was able to come down to 46MB. Still too big to send away.
please help!
-
got it!
hey Darnell, i just remember one thing "evidence of relationship" - if i've alreays sent those in along with I-130. Do I need to send them again in IV packet?
-
yup I read it. Ryan sent it to me!
-
not everyone can efile, only certain consulates. you must first find out if it is an option for you.
hehehe...I can! thank godness! Darnell helped me got this one.
Canada and Mexico use the DS-260. Guangzhou uses the DS-230.
The DS-260 is collected online at a portal. The DS-230 , though electronic, is simply a fillable PDF form and is sent out via email, not used at a portal.
I'm a thinking he's found out already.. :D
YOU ROCK!
oh one more question, do I need to include BAR-CODED for AOS packet?
-
1) Yeah, I OPTIN tonighted and I read your profile URL and it says about a week to get a new case #
**DS260**isn't that the same as DS230? I thought all EP users need to fill out this form instead.
I'm preparing my documents. Untill I get a GZO#, I took your advice - stay tunded!
Thanks Darnell for your quick reponse! I will revise my checklist.

heehee...thanks Ryan, I went into your link and read it. It is really helpful. I'm going to start collecting/preparing I864/DS230 packets tonight while I'm waiting for the response from NVC.
Bigdog, Darnell...thanks...a million thanks going out for ya! You guys are awesome!! So acknolwedgable and kind.
I just shooted an email to NVC EP center tonight. Hopefully by next week there will be a GZO# ready for me! I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed!!!
-
Any special reason you prefer paper over electronic? Since you have not yet sent any forms to the NVC, it is not too late for you to OPTIN to electronic processing and get a GZO number.
i didn't know GUZ is one of e-processing bases until i found out from this forum. Missed it when i was reading at NVC website. Actually I've mailed out my Choice of Address and Agent (DS3032) paper form to NVC and just paid AOS/IV fees last Friday.
is it too late to get enrolled in EP? how long does it take to get a GZO#?
-
Are you not undergoing electronic processing?
paper processing!
-
I heard I864 and DS230 are different processing at NVC. I'm about to send out these two forms out next week. Should I put them in one big vanilla envelop or two envelops?
anyone knows?
-
very helpful info! thanks guys!
i didnot know guangzhou is accepting e-processing. Is it too late to register as e-case with them? i've paid my aos/iv fee. Just about to sumbit my packet (paper copy) to them next week.
-
gosh, good call! Thanks!
-
