Quick question. On I-864A, not I-864...item 10: "my current individual annual income_______________" is this number comes from line 22 (tax return 1040 as well)? Or sponsor's W2? his own income? he's filing married joint with wife.

ok, got it. Line 22. I'll re-fill out my form today.

never mind. I read it wrong. It is 1-864A form.

Items 13.a.1. The income you enter must match the total (gross) income reported on your most recent Federal
income tax return. If you filed Form 1040EZ, use the adjusted gross income instead.

On I-864 13a income...do I put tax return number from line 7 or 37?

I did file correctly for myself and my co-sponsor. However, co-sponsor (my sister)'s husband now needs to fill out I864, i turned in I864A. They need I-864, not I-864A.

So frastrating!

Anyone out there? My IV fee has shown as "Paid". Should I send in the original certificates while waiting my IV application link working? Any sugguesiton would be appreciated!

And where do I send them to?

I submitted my payment online 09/01/2014. It's shown as "paid" on 09/03/2014. It's been almost 4 official days (excluded weekends). Thank u! I'm a worrier.

After IV fee shows "PAID", isn't it supposed I can click on the blue link to submit IV application. But my account linke is in grey. Is this happening to anybody? What should I do? I called NVC and the lady is insisting im looking at the wrong browser. Argh, i'm not blind!

sorry i came across reading about form differences between I-864A and I-864. Saylin said I864 for co-sponor. But if we live in the same household, we can use I-864A? so my brother has been living with me when he's in USA. And when his wife comes, she'll live with us too. Should I fill out both I-864 and I-864A just to be safe?

Just FYI. Guz case can be sending via email directly now. No longer need to opt n to get Gzo case number. Good luck!

Hiiiii - I'm helping my brother to fill out his AOS form. This is his situation. He is an American citizen that works and lives in China with his wife now. He's petitioning his wife to come to USA. His 2013 year income does not qualify to be a sponsor for is wife. Do you know which form (s) that he needs to fill out?

1) I-864 for him anyway since he's working?

2) I-864 for me or I-864A? - I'll be his sponsor.

How many sponsors can there be on the application? The more, the better?

P4, interview instruction : "Attention: As of Monday, December 6, 2010, Immigrant Visa (IV) applicants processing at Guangzhou will be required to go to the Consular Office at 12:30pm on the date specified on the appointment letter for fingerprint and document intake. The applicant(s) will then be required to return the following morning at 7:30am for their interview."

-->this is really confusing. So they said interview date is on 10/31 12:30pm. That means we would have to return next day morning? Line up at the door around 7:30AM?

My visa interview schedule is finally set - it's on 10/31 in guangzhou. Anyone knows what to expect at interview? The letter says it's at 12:30PM. Some people say that we should be checking in around 7:30AM. Is this necessary? What time do they open? I just don't want to go there during their lunch break. (Do they even have any lunch break? Just curious.)

When will we get notified if we have passed the interview? Is it the same day? I can't find any interview process info. Anyone would like do pinch in experience? I know I should arrive there a day before. But not sure how many days I should stay and we're nervous about our interview.
