Thank you. Filed last year August 8, 2015 and received NOA on August 11, 2015. The approval date on the letter was June 28, 2016 and it was from the local USCIS office.

Hello all. Yesterday, we received our I-797 notice of approval to remove the conditions. My wife and I are both ecstatic and relieved.

My husband got his approval letter in the mail today. Approval date is 5/25/16! The status never updated online so this was a surprise!

I've been approved by VSC! No rfe or interview. I was worried they'd hassle me as my wife had traveled back to her country a couple of times without me. Got the letter in the mail today.

Yes. If she got her first Green Card in November 2013, then she can apply for naturalization in August of 2016 (3 years from receiving her GC minus 90 days). There is a calculator on the USCIS website, which you may want to use to figure out the exact date.

I have a question. Regarding the naturalization, does my spouse submit her naturalization packet from the 3 anniversary date of receiving her original green card or the 3 year anniversary of when she arrived in the US? I'm assuming it's the former?

Vermont service center is taking forever... I've only been seeing the California Service Center approvals so far. Congrats to all the folks who've had their removal of conditions approved!

Any August 15' VSC filers get approved yet?

Yes, normal. If you completed biometrics all there is left to do is wait for them to work on the case and if you are VSC filer like I am, we're going to be waiting a while as they haven't even finished April.

Our online status is unchanged since we got the biometrics letter, even after attending.

I have a strong feeling many of us will be filing for Citizenship before they even process our cases.

Hello all, I just checked the status of our case and there have been no update since August of 2015. Is this normal? The last update states that they received the form CRI-89 request to remove conditions and that they sent us a notice on how they will process the case. We've already completed the bio-metrics back in early Sept...

Our I-485 status on the USCIS gov website just changed to DECISION, from ACCEPTANCE. Is this a good sign or are they still trying to figure out a DECISION?

You don't need the original signed document. My employer signed the employment letter and sent it to me via email as a scanned pdf document. Hope this helps.

Hello all,

My fiance and I attended the US Consular interview at Montreal, Canada last week...and.... we have been APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! It has been a very long process but the wait was all worth it in the end. The interview itself was very easy, quick and smooth and took all about 30 minutes; only 10 minutes with the Consular officer. My fiance will be moving here in a few weeks and we will be getting married soon after. Thanks to everybody on here for assisting me throughout the year with all of the questions that I had. Next is the AOS process.. Hopefully, the AOS is easier than the K1 visa. :-D

Make sure that you do your research regarding her vaccinations. She will want to make sure that those are up to date before she goes for her medical. You can find out what you need thru the DOS website.
