  1. Hello, my wife filed a I-130 petition and on Dec. 13 2012 it was approved, due to the fact that it was some how lost in the mail and never recieved. I had to work and get a extra 405 to pay a dupllicate copy of the approval notice. Now im ready to file for my duplicate and I would like to know if I could also file the I-212 to reenter the U.S because previously before my wife submitted the I-130 I was order voluntary departure twice by Immigration Judge. And I feel somehow the I-212 applies to me if theirs anyone out there that could help me with this matter. I would appreciate it very much thank you! you could also contact me at galindojose_23@hotmail.com thanks once again!

  2. It sounds very wicked to be made to pay such an amount of money for a notice that may never have left their office. Its not like they arr doing anything else but to just print out another noticie and mail it to you.

OP I would advice you research well as there has to be a way to go around that fee.

    Best wishes.

thank you. do you have any idea of where i can start my research?

  3. so on 12/13/12 my I-130 petition was approved and untile this day I have not received the approval notice...today my wife went to an immigration appoiment to talk with a immigration officer about the matter and the problems are the following:

    1. uscis say they sent the notice via US mail

    2. we never recevied the approved notice

    3. uscis say there is nothing they can do about it and the only way to get a copy of the approved notice is to file an I-824 (approved application)the fee is $405 USD.

my question to anybody out there that can help me out is:

    1. can i send an I-912 fee waiver along with I-824(approved application)

I think its not right to pay and extra 405 USD. when I already Paied $420..is there anybody out there that can help me in this matter.

    Thank you.
