thank you for using your time to read my list. hope you'd give me any advice about my list. thanks!

  3. oh taking wedding pics PRIOR to marriage is a custom in HK. People in here usually take pics LONG BEFORE they really get married.

let me tell u a bit more... it's like 2 people wearing in those 'wedding costumes' to take some beautiful pics inside/outside

so... maybe i shouldnt show them a few of those pics?

  4. Hi,

hey you've got a really nice wedding photo there :)

ok... luckily i got a engagement ring (we sent that pic of me wearing the ring and holding the flowers to them on my application too :P) and actually we didnt take some wedding pics in HK when he came last time. so i hope it'll be ok.

but still i'll hope to hear more experiences from others here. thanks!

Oops... i saw a mistake ... i mean we DID take some wedding pics in HK..:P

  5. Hi!

i'm going to have my k1 visa interview on 27 Feb! Thanks for all your help during this long period.

Now i've another question again. For those who have had interview, I'd like to know if you're asked about your detailed wedding plan?

we dont have a detailed wedding plan cuz we're not sure about the interview. Actually i havent even booked the ticket to the US yet cuz we're really not sure if the interview is ok or not. but i did hope that i'll fly to the US in May and maybe we'll get married some time in June/July. Also we wont be having a grand wedding banquet ... that's why we dont have any detailed plan yet...

if so, would it be ok? what do you think? i'm just so nervous!

    Thanks.

  6. golfnut63,

    Thanks for your answer!

Yeah we dont have a detailed wedding plan also cuz of that. Actually i havent even booked the ticket to the US cuz we're really not sure if the interview is ok or not. but i did hope that i'll fly to the US in May and maybe we'll get married some time in June/July. We wont be having a grand wedding banquet too... that's why.

hm... maybe i should also open a new thread and asked how others' interview went.

btw... congratulations again & hope you two have a wonderful wedding! :)

  7. Congratulations!!! i like hearing good news!!! :)

I'll also have my interview on 27 Feb... so nervous now. Hope i'll also meet someone nice there.

Hm... since you have just had your interview.. i'd like to know if they asked anything in detail about your wedding plan? I ask this cuz we dont really have any detailed plan. i just wonder if what they'll react.

For all the others who have had interview... pls kindly give me any opinions about the interview. i'm just so nervous.

    THANKS!!!

  8. i asked the HK consulate whether the tax return form is a MUST as the supporting evidence of I-134. but the lady simply told me 'we cannot answer you this question. you just bring every document you think is useful along to the interview.'

oh well... but i think i'll just use the unsigned tax return forms & the W2s. i guess that should be enough since we also have other evidence.

    thanks.

  9. First of all, i'd like to tell you that i've scheduled my k-visa interview on 27Feb 2006! :)

I think i've already got all the documents ready. but i still have some questions about the i-134 supporting documents.

My fiance has mailed me the bank letter, employment letter and his stocks information to me. Is that enough? Do we also need his tax return? Do i also need anything my employer letter/tax return in HK?

    Thanks a lot.

  10. I have not interviewed but we have 3 complete packages. 1 was mailed to the CSC. One I will take to the interview and he has one just in case something happens to mine. Better safe than sorry.

    Hi Cristy,

Yeah I also have 3 complete packages. Actually I did the same as you. But that instruction made me wonder if I need to make an extra one to BRING to the interview... Oh well...

Hm... I guess I may just photocopy one more set...just in case...

  11. Hi,

Today I tried to have a final check of the documents that I need to bring to the interview. Then i read through some instructions again. The unclear instructions suggested that "i MAY need to bring 2 photocopies of the documents to the interview, in case the copies are damaged/ lost".

Yeah I have 2 copies of SOME of the important documents. BUT since there're SO MANY evidence, i wonder if i really need to take 2 COPIES of EVERYTHING to the interview? (NOTE: I've 2 copies, but one of them is at my fiance's place).

So for those who went to the interview, did you really bring 2 copies of EVERYTHING? there'll be a lot...

    Thanks.
