  1. I came here on a k1 visa and got married on Aug 7. I was 34 weeks pregnant when i got here in hawaii and just delivered a healthy baby girl on aug 17..

Yesterday, I found out that my dad is suffering from diabetes, the doctor told my family that his legs are infected and need to amputate..

It was very hard for me and i keep on crying everytime i think about my dad.. I wanted to go visit him and give him hugs kisses love and support.. I also want him to see his first grand child..

I would like to ask if emergency AP is possible..if yes, how can i apply it. and how long will it take.. or are there any requirements or etc..

We havent filed for AOS because we dont have budget now to apply. also im still healing from my delivery and been busy taking care of my baby.. but i really want to see my dad..

    Thank you in advance

  2. Aloha nui loa! Welcome to (the other) paradise!

We have less rain here and it's not as hot as the Phlippines :-)

We even have Red Horse (Pacific Market in Waipahu) and two Jollibee now!

weeeeee mahalo!! while i was in the airplane looking at the view i was like OMG is this really hawaii?? so nice and beautiful! and the weather is unexpected, it was sunny but have some lil showers :) too bad i cant drink redhorse hihihi :) but OMG jolibee!! i really like their spaghetti.. i will ask my hubby to take me there <3

  3. thank you so much for the greetings :) im here now, after 2 days of jetlag lols

it was a long trip for me, preggy sitting for 11hrs with lots of turbulence ahahaha :)

@tahoma yeah i was surprise that they allowed me, maybe with my case, they approved my visa on the day of my interview, and after a week they called me to say my visa was examined again by the consul and needed additional documents, which is not good (coz we already booked flight lols excited) the delays made us frustrated and thinking it will took weeks to approve again the visa. my fiance talked to them and was very mad and he asked to send it via email not by courier :) luckily they said its ok :)

but thats not all, after few days they called again to inform me that my visa is on final process (printing)but they misspelled my name!! ahahaha! so again another delays.. so we had to call the embassy 3 times a day :) i asked them i want to pick up the visa (because i dont have time to wait for the courier and i told them i have to leave ph asap so i can give birth here in Hawaii). then the next morning i received a call from them and told me i can pick up my visa anytime at USEM:)

  9. I still dont have my police clearance, but i went to my interview yesterday (June 12, 2012) and i passed without it :bonk:

i only stayed in japan for 5 months and 27days ahaha  I just filed for police clearance if in case they still look at it as 6 mons (lols if they rounded it off) but i still insist that its less than 6 mons..

  10. Let me share my experience :)

June 7 i went to USEM with my fiance and asked for the letter of instruction/request for police clearance at window 38.. the lady said she cant give me that letter because we dont have manila case number yet.. so we dont have choice but to leave that place :(

I was very frustrated that the NVC still not giving us the manila case number.. found out that japan cert takes 2-3 mons.. while i am in a hurry to have this done so i can fly to US and give birth (i am 7 mons preggy that time)..

I searched VJ for some info, and i found out that maybe i can try to go to Japan embassy without that letter from USEM. June 27 i went there with the copy of NOA2 and passport.. the Japanese guy at the window asked me what do i want, so i told him i need police clearance.. no more questions, he just took my passport only (no NOA2 or anything) and photocopied it and said wait for a while.. then he came back with this form and asked me to fill it up. :)

i took back the form after its completely filled up and he gave me paper for my fingerprint (be sure to keep it clean and dont fold it) and the map going to crame lab. i went to camp crame with my 2x2 pictures and 200php.. and then came back again to japan embassy (alot of walkings for a preggy :bonk: )

i gave this paper with my complete finger print..
