I'm sorry to hear about your news, I came across your review of lagos consulate. If you don't mind me asking, and maybe I read it wrong, but was there a reason you were in Nigeria for over a month and didn't see his mother? ( I was just trying to think if that had something to do with the denial)

They didn't eve ask about that. They didn't question anything. Didn't question any of his answers. But yes there was a reason. She lived in a different state and was caring for his sick dad.......who later died. I was terrified of traveling because of all the warnings on the state dot site for American travelets. The only weird part of the interview were the questions why his brother lived in Austria and what did that brother do for a living.

This guy from our place found out my fiance got approved and the only thing he could open his dirty mouth to say was, that my fiance should get his own apartment when he gets here, because American women turn their husbands into slaves! I promised my fiance I would not go cuss him out properly. I just don't understand why people are so evil!

No the midget is not married! He is scared of my fiance and actually had the nerve a well ago to ask me if a friend of his paid me would I be willing to do papers for him! I really want to meet the women that were able to enslave an african man! Im still heated about telling him to get his own apartment. Yes my husband will have his own apartment while me and my baby hangout in another one! Cause that's what your father did with your mother

My boo boo just went to bed, we argued what time he should wake up lol. I feel like my destiny is beind decided in a just hours! Whether I settle in Nigeria or USA.

Had a dream we were denied because I had an electricity bill due the day of the interview lol! Lagos is so ridiculous that I feel like we could be denied for something like that.

yay passport has been issued! now time for medical & police clearance on monday. Interview is 11 days away

I appreciate the love that some of the Nigerian couples show each other on this website! I usually dont like making friends on the internet but having people who understands the battle of just wanting to start a family with the one you love and who loves you too is very comforting. Feeling sentimental this week.

God my fiance of course wait until last minute to go take care of his passport reissue, now there has been one problem after the other. Worried this is going to delay everything!

Seems like Lagos is on a role with the denials... maybe its just me. I wish those that have benefitted from the stories of other members would post about their own experience so that others can continue preparing
