Yes it is a CR-1 which includes the fee for the I-765 correct?
-
Thank you for the info, i don't know how i missed adding the biometric fees. The I-130 however immigration said the fee of $535 was incorrect as well. For the I-765 authorization for employment technically i dont have to submit it but my wife would prefer to work during the whole process.

Greeting,
I submitted my package for my wife three weeks ago and it was rejected due to the filing fees being incorrect. I pulled the fees from USCIS website and went to the hermandad office this morning and they said the fees were also incorrect even on the USCIS website. I need some assistance for the current fees thank you.
3 checks written
U.S. Department of Homeland Security
I-765 $410.00
I-485 $1140.00
I-130 $535.00

I have an update... I now truely believe I am blessed with bad luck.. I have worked so hard to get to the interview at the embassy only to be thrown a snowball in my face. My fiance for what ever reason has called it quits. She refuses to tell me why stating that she has many problems. She says that she does not want to hurt me more than she has.I am more hurt from her not telling me because I feel like she is hiding something but inam now lost with all of this and I give up on relationships this has been to much for me.

they will have to contact the embassy directly, explain the situation, they should be able to issue a new visa
Ok thanx, Seems like this process will be difficult for my fiance and I until the bitter end unfortunately.

My fiance has a situation she is currently waiting for a corrected birth certificate for her son and are visa expires july 7. As it stands I dont think she will get it in time. I want to file for an extension and want to know if they will approve it for that. I have told her that she can get a certified birth letter in place of it but she wants to see if the amended certificate comes first.

And if anyone knows, res knows. He's experienced the worst of the worst.
Isn't that is the truth, I can not wait to be over with this part of it and i hope that no one has to go through what i have.

Local offices do not adjudicate I-129Fs for K-1 visa chasers, at all.
This was a foul up by CSC or VSC (whoever had it) and you can bet it was not just 1 case, but a batch of cases that were sent to NRC erroneously.
Why? Software programmed 'wrongly' combined with stupid humans , makes for a very bad routing.
I will tell you that my case was approved at a local office. I actually had an interview with an immigration officer that came from the san bernardino office who said i was red flagged because i was a military member. After presenting all of my evidence to her she approved my file. My hang up after that was that they sent my petition to their archive center.

I have another update, my case was just shipped to the embassy today. One inquiriy got my case moving on the fast track after so long I almost cant believe it.
-
you should be fine I had the same thing with my senator and it was at nvc within a week and it was just shipped to embassy today.Late update:
Heard from the Senator's office that the file has been located today and is on it's way to the NVC.
I hope that's the case...

the only thing that helped me this time around was the congressman's office surprisingly. Passing my good luck on to you now. That's good news!

we got approved (NOA2) on May 3. Still waiting for case number. husband called USCIS and NVC many many times. Finally he was told they couldn't find our file
So he had to scan the hard copy NOA2 we got in the mail and emailed it to them. He also wrote to the congressman. Let's see how long this is gonna take. I'm really worried as I'm hoping to have everything done by end of June, but God knows how long it will take. It's stupid how they mess up and caused us a looooong wait.
Looks like you may be in the same boat as me check out my post here.

Good Morning,
I contacted my congressman a few weeks ago and he finally got back to me to let me know that my petition has been shipped to the NVC. This morning i recieved an email from NVC research stating that my file has been located here is the email "please be advised the NVC contacted USCIS in regards to my approved petition (NBC) has informed us that your petition is located at the (NRC) and USCIS will have the file ordered for officer review". This does not suprise me especially when i waited for over a year just to get my petition approved, I just hope that this goes smoothly once NVC recieves my petiton because this ####### is getting really old.

"I was approved on march 29 and my petition still has not been recieved and NVC so i contacted my congresssmans office. He called today and said that my case is being expeditiously rushed to NVC and he is going to monitor my case to ensure that it is streamlined from this point forward since i have been going through this for a year and a half."
I was approved on March 29th too and NVC hasn't received my petition either. I have a MSC number but my husband lives in California. Do you think my petition was sent to CSC? I've called USCIS spoke to tier 2 rep who put in a request. I sent a request to my congressman last week.
How long did it take for your congressman to get back to you?
My petition was approved at the local office in San Bernardino and it has just been sitting there from what my congressman told me. I have called USCIS multiple times over the last few months and have been rejected to speak with a tier two most times. When i have been able to speak with someone they just tell me to keep waiting. Its rediculous but the congressman said my petition should be at NVC by tomorrow.

Res4688 how long did it take for your congressman to get in touch with you?

Can you really get your medical exam before they set an interview date? Id like to do that.
Congtrats, I read on the embassys website in rio in bold not to schedule the medical until the interview has been scheduled.

Thanks, good luck to you as well. i just got back yesterday from belo horizonte seeing my fiance for ten days after a year and a half apart it really is very difficult but i will not have to wait long now to see her again.
-
Lol ..I'll fell bad if i was in your place....people from may already have their RDJ..if I was you had contacted a congressman...
Yes i have and jut the other day i recieved an email from USCIS saying that they have finally shipped my file to NVC. I have been through the ringer with this whole process, if you look at my timeline i waited over a year for my NOA2 but im not letting it get to me because i am getting so close to the end now which gives me a lot of hope.
-
Do not feel bad as I have waited three months and my case is still not at NVC yet. It seems to be the norm now for longer waiting periods.
-
After waiting for three months since my approval and finishing my ten day vacation i got an email from USCIS that they have finally sent my petition to the national visa center on Friday. The funny thing is that i got an email from NVC today saying that they could not locate my file. I guess this may be due o USCIS finally sending it out so i guess we will see and i hope NVC gets it very soon now.
