sorry for the late reply...did u get ur passport yet?..my husband got it on or around Oct 24

sorry for the late reply. After I130 got approve, i did call NVC to get case#, it took 11 days to get case#, i sent the DS3023 by email, i used the email format as soon as i got my case # and after giving my email address to NVC.

did you get case # and gave your and your spouse's email address to NVC? If you already have or will get in future then sent DS3032 email formate to NVC email.

if all documents are correct then your case will complete soon.

NVC do accept notarized true copy of the marriage certificate from india. they accepted my sis-in-law's notarized true copy marriage certificate 2 weeks ago.

if you already submitted, then its false checklist...i got false checklist for AOS. They haven't reviewed your DS230 yet. Just call NVC and confirm that.

ya it was approved from USCIS in july, NVC step is over, my case completed on monday aug 13th, now just waiting for NVC assign my husband interview date. Look at my Timeline on this forum. you will understand better. did your case complete at NVC?

But NVC can tell you better of what kind of certified copy is acceptable from indian visa applicant documents. My husband sent just true copy stamp documents, they accepted. But they didn't accept that for my cousin's wife. she had get her document notarized by only government officials. so just confirm with NVC which kind of they would consider certified copy

i think its good idea to send them certified copy. But if you do decide to send them original, make sure to send them also 1 extra copy of all documents so they can return the original at interview. make copy for your self too.

you could get notarized only from government officials. i think which has red stamp and also make sure to tell them put true copy stamp too. But NVC can tell ...
