Congratulations!! Very happy for you...

I do not think you will be allowed entrance without an interview notice. Your husband should call the Uscis and inquire about your case.

My ID card and passport has expired and I need to get it renewed. I'm in the ROC process. I need my name changed on my ID and Passport along with getting it renewed. I went on the Consulate website and am confused as anything. It says to renew your NIC online , tgats wgat i need help with. Tried calling the Counsulate in Houston but no one answers.
I don't know about the id card, but my husband had to go to the consulate of Pakistan in Washington, DC to get his passport renewed.

No, he did not make a decision that day, the lawyer asked when did he think he would make a decision he said by mid June. So, let's see.

There is nothing you can do, but wait. We filed on 7/2014, and just 2 weeks ago we had our interview.

Waiting for the now 10 year GC and looking forward to no longer having to do ROC.Wow 9 months after your interview! How did your interview go? The IO told the lawyer he will make a decision my mid June, let's see.

Likely this is due to stateside Administrative Processing chiefly due to the beneficiary being a Pakistani male. But you probably already knew that.
Yes, but the awkwardness of our interview is that the IO only asked if we had joint bank accounts, the rest of the interview was him wanting to know of my trips to Pakistan. He didn't ask anything else about our marriage.

Case status still reads: On July 13, 2016, we accepted the fingerprint fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number ---------------. Our National Benefits Center location is working on your case. We mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
We received a letter in April saying they needed more info (his birth certificate specifcally) to make a decision, and this was to be mailed to somewhere in North Carolina (can't remeber the city right now). Per tracking, the package was received. Is there anything I can do but wait? And shouldn't I have received something about an interview/interview waiver by now? I wasn't worrying about it, but realized today how long it's been since we filed..
Thank You
Next month it will be 3 years we filed, and we just had our interview last week. And no decision was made, so here we are waiting again.

I can't believe it. You guys have waited so long. And why is it weird that you went to visit your fiance in Pakistan. I am sorry to hear that they are making a fuss out of nothing. I hope it all works out for you.
I know, I was just shocked how he turned the interview towards me and my trips to Pakistan and my ex husband. He said we should hear something by mid June, so let's see.

Hi All! My husband and I had our 485 interview yesterday, it lasted about an hour. But the IO was more focused in me the US citizen, of how awkward it was that I had traveled to Pakistan 3 times, me being a woman. He only asked my husband where does he work and the 485 questions. The questions he asked were mostly towards me, about my ex-husband and trips to Pakistan. Anyways he didn't make a decision he gave us a "further review" paper. The lawyer asked when does he think he would make a decision he said by mid June. I don't even know if to be happy or what.

Hi! I don't know how it goes about his type of visa, b/c my husband came on a k1 and his packet was emailed to me. Have you checked his and your e-mail? If you have, try e-mailing the embassy and letting them know. I hope all goes well.

No fee, just include the NOA 1 from your AOS and submit 120 days before EAD expires, they are running a bit behind.
The uscis rep said to include a letter stating we lost the Noa2 and include the interview waiver letter and the biometrics appointment letter and highlight the receipt#. We sent it out again they received it, so let's see if they accept this. Thank you for your reply!

So, if we lost our Noa1, what other document can we use?

Hi Everyone! My husband's interview was rescheduled and till now we have not received a new interview date. His work permit expires in July. We sent the paperwork at the beginning of March, and they sent it back to us requesting proof of a pending I-485. They asked for the I-485 receipt notice (I-797) which we cannot find. We are going to send the last SR letter we received, the potential interview waiver and the bio metrics appointment, which all include his case #. Will these documents be ok as proof of a pending I-485, or what other documents do you guys suggest we send in proving a pending I-485?
Thanks in advance!

I know! Thank-you! I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

After 2 1/2 years waiting for our interview, we finally got our interview letter!!!

We traveled with our marriage certificate and the letter from Uscis stating his case was still pending. We just wanted to be on the safe side.

Hi,
I have been through all this. I waited almost 7 years to join my spouse after marriage. Finally we are together alhamdulilah. I can relate all the feelings you people are expressing here.
But once you will be here in shaa Allah you will develop new sentiments.
When we are in the process we always wait for the day when we will be able to depart. But at the same time we forget about the persons who are with us, specially our parents. When we are getting mad to get the visa, our parents, brothers, sisters, they are the people we are leaving behind and show no attachment with them.
So until you are here try to spend your time with them beautifully because you don't know whether you will get the chance to spend time with them ever again. Specially your parents deserve your love and care, Don't pass this time in stress for a matter you have no control.
I am sure you will really miss this time. Life is not a bed of roses here, its demands are really high.
Best of luck to all
Great words...totally agree with you!
