The extention letter you got is for you to work and travel while your 10 yrs green card is being processed.

Just checked online, post office picked up my card today, when I tracked the shipping it says I should get it by tomorrow, very excited ?
-
Do you have life and health insurance together? That will be perfect to include, also idk if it's just my luck but I only sent the most recent back statement, yes just one, and was approved with no RFE, you really have a lot of unnecessary documents there, good luck
-

Same problem with me, my receipt date was 04/21/14 I tried to do the e-request and got the same msg, only reason I made a request is because I work for the city and it showed up in the system that my GC is expired so basically on the terminated list at work and I'm not sure if they gonna accept the extension letter
-
No it would not, I got financial aid last year and I applied for ROC this year, no problems
-
We all know this not the place to ask this question, but the time it took you guys to point that out, you could have just answer the question, jeez, good job merrytooth

My mom is already in the US, so I'm not "bringing" her anywhere, smh

Hi all, wasn't sure where to ask this question, but I am a green card holder and I will be filing for citizenship next year, what I want to know is,can I file for my mother before I become a US citizen?
-
Everyone is correct, I forgot about that recently and booked my flight with my marriage name, the guy was so puzzled, luckily I had my marriage certificate with me, I have it to him and he run it by his supervisor and everything was ok
-
I'm sorry did not want to say anything, but this all sound like it was planned, first he wanted to cancel her GC and had crazy accusations now he "forgot" about the interview letter or whatever, smh, she's probably better off in India than living here with him, something sounds a bit off, that's just my input, feel bad for the wife though.

U literally just came back from canada, they have US homeland security there and everything, I had no problem using my letter at all, they just asked when is the extention from
I not u sorry
-
I was talking about Canada to, they recognize it
-
You would be ok, it would be a lil process though, I just came back from canada, traveled with my expired gc and extended letter, they were confused as to when the one year extension was from, whether it's from the date on the gc or the date on the receipt, either way I went got through and I'm back in NY, I flew thought but I'm sure it's the same as driving, I know people that drove over with the letter and expired gc, good luck
