    Hi, SZ thanks for the reply but you had "URDU" nikah nama as well I do not have one in URDU. I only have ENGLISH FORM # 2 This is exact form which is in URDU as well. Please understand that I only have it in ENGLISH, and this is already registered in Pakistan that we are legally married anyone can check it.....

    Dear I can understand your point but there should be nikkah in URDU as well, in my point of view this RFE is only because of urdu nikkah is missing, you are right that form in english is registered even though mine was also registered but unfortunately they want to see in local language as well. This was said by NVC representative when my RFE came. I am not sure about Nadra one marriage certificate I had it as well but I dodnt submit I left it purposely for my interview and eventually the URDU one was accepted. in my friend's case they just saw urdu nikkahnama and even though they didnt ask for translation Which amazed me too.

    Hi dear, my RFE was exactly same, they send such queries if you didnt submit your URDU NIKKAH NAMAH, when i spoke to NVC they guided me to send the local language nikkahnama and in eglish translation because my nikkah was already in english (and urdu too) but that time I thought if the nikkah has been in english already then it should be sufficient but eventually it wasnt. so make sure you submit your urdu nikkah nama as well.

    moreover, i have certified my marriage from nadra whuich i didnt submit and having it for my interview incase they want to see.

    good to know, is that the same for k1 and k3 ?

    btw does anyone know which language is it preferred to give interview in? my fiance is leaning towards Urdu more then english, she understands very well and can speak also but shes not as fluent i think its more of a confidence hold up.

    hey dear do you think language can affect the interview, do let me know too but I will go for english because they may get confused after holding degrees and being in professional life for many years and having many international trips and still cant speak in english, i am just thinking about those facts thats why english is prefered . i guess so , what do you thnk????

    pls do not go for attorney...try to take help from this forum...trust me my husband's attorney got me 2 months late and charged about 1000$ with no use...at the end when i got query from nvc i compiled all my docs and told my husband to send to NVC after consulting the lawyer..bacuse we didnt fired out lawyer...its very easy make a packet and send it to nvc.,

    I do not want to disaapoint you but honestly it is immposible nearly and you would be denied..my coulleagues were in family immigration in Pakistan and they had multiple visa when they went for the renewal of the multiple visa it was denied because they were already in immigration process and they might take 10 years as a family based immigration still they didnt get it...knowing the fact they all are working for US based multinational company with lots of other countries and US traveling exit entry...still ther were denied...

    Hey guys just want to encourage the people looking for jobs, Yes market is tough and even tougher for immigrants... work ethics are quite different from many other countries comparatively!

    One of my previous jobs was to hire a large number of people for seasonal employment. Just an fyi there are many skilled people unemployed at the moment many whom are over qualified. Best thing to land a job is tailor your resume to mirror the job requirements... no one cookie cutter application will not work for various jobs!

    I could go on with this forever... anyways I think someone mentioned this earlier... it is true who you know makes a big impact 70% of jobs are being landed by reference right now. So make connections and use them!

    Please keep the separate maintained file for the following and tagged them in an order so that when CO ask for any documents you should be having thise date wise;I am sure NVC must have kept your original documents so you should have certified or true copies of your originals:

    Just me and you lol...

    lolzzz...hey yunis any idea when to get the medical done, as you know after interview letter we can do it but when I called Agha khan hospital the person dealing with the immigration services suggest me to ge the medical done by august 1st week so it has an expiry of 6months..when are you planning to get the medical done.or anyelse suggest me......

    Is this gonna effect on my interview??

    I live in pakistan and i have to go to another city for my interview.

    I want to ask that can my hubby(sponsar, who has applied for me) be present in pakistan with me at the time of interview? Because i have no one in my family whom with i go to another city..

    That'why i have planned to call my hubby at the time of interview and go with him.

    Now i want to ask that is this gonna effect my interview?

    The presence of my hubby with me at the time of interview can reject me?

    hi maham, you will be glad to know that the presence make the case perfect, in my friend case they approved the visa just looking at her husband with her and without asking a single question, the pasport was retured with approval just in two days. your hubby can accompany you to the interview counter if you husband is US citizen. this makes the case strong.wish you gud luck! when do you have your interview.

    Oh no, that makes me so sad!!! I hoped it would be so fast. My hubby just paid the affidavit bill and I was so happy that we are moving forward with this, but looks like after the case is complete it still a long wait till we find out the interview date.

    I have a question...I have email NVC the choice of agent and don't know if it's been accepted. But...my husband got instructions (which explained how to chose the agent) last night and the invoice for affidavit which he paid last night as well. How do I know if NVC has accepted my choice of agent?

    for choice if agent I really dont have any idea, would request my other VJ to help her out..

    For us the nikah was a requirement at the NVC stage. For other consulates you may only need it at the embassy stage. Either way you need it at some point. Try going to the pakistan forum and posting. good luck :)

    Dear Brother, I just had my NVC case completed my RFE (Query) was about to submit the original urdu nikah nama...so you must submit the original with nadra one...you can get your nikkah nama ammended as per your date of birth or try to get some corretive actions because date of birth is ocnsidered as a sign or recognition of person in NVC so you must submit it.

    yeah I can tell how "Desperately" you are awaiting! anyways keep your mind off of it and dont worry in a few weeks i will ask someone to do the same for me IA. I still have yet to get a case number from NVC, Thus i still have a ways to go I guess.

    Oh yes btw this makes my 100th post! wooohooo! you should be honored I chose to post on your topic! lol!
