      here in phil.after we pay visa fee,we call the nvc hotline number for getting an interview date together wd the passport number and receipt number of the visa..then u can choose what appt..available :)

      nope...they are IR-1/CR-1 applicants. They are not K-1 applicants.

    Called NVC today said they received my case yesterday May 28th, but don't have a case number yet. Need to call in 10-20 business days. :(

    So annoying I had answered yes to the social security question on the DS-260 and my husbands social security card was not being processed. We had to fill out a new application for him to receive the social security card grr. Now we have to wait more to finally receive it.

      This happens very frequently. Myself included. It's not a big deal. Once I applied in person, my SSN arrived in the mail 10 days later :)

    Hi Saylin!. I was hopping you can help me out here. I'm a bit confused with the whole packet 3 and packet 4. Does my husband (beneficiary) get that through regular mail? Or is the Packet 4 (since he is in Peru) the interview email we got?
