    Yes, this is a regular problem. Keep trying everyday, twice a day. I waited a week before i was able to get one, some people have waited longer. Best of luck. i know how frustrating this is. so near and yet it seems so far. ........cray5ol.gif

    Hey Baklava my case completed at NVC but no interview date yet so do i need to call US Ankara embassy for schedule an interview or nvc is going to set a interview date? any info?

    Nice people of this forum. I have a concern/question that someone might have an idea about.

    I received a checklist (unfortunately ofcourse) . The checklist starts with the notion that they are still awaiting my civil documents !!!! and then a couple of items that needs to be furnished in regards to AOS.

    The thing is, I sent both IV and AOS packages separately but at the same time. Delivery was done for both (confirmed) and I even called NVC and they also confirmed getting 2 packages a day after delivery.

    Do you nice people think that they asking for civil documents is because the people who do AOS are separate from people who do IV reviews and since packages sent at the same time, AOS group does not know about IV group?

    Kind of worried of why they do indicate that they are still waiting for the civil documents even though they have it. Anyone can give me any clues in this? I ll sure call them, but a quick input goes a long long way. Thanks to all.

    first you should call the nvc and find out about whats going on with you case. and second i don't think AOS department would request civil documents. in some cases if they completed your Aos package then they send you a checklist so you can review your civil document and make sure there is no any missing documents etc. they are just reminding you about next steep and what you need to send with iv package.

    i received a checklist requesting civil documents in the same day my AOS package accepted which i already submitted all civil documents.

    Hi Guys

    I sent an email to embassy about my interview schedule and i asked them when they will schedule me an interview and this is what they respond.. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

    Btw i put my correct nvc case# on there.

    After a thorough search of our files, we are unable to locate a record/file at our office under the case number given in your e-mail. It appears that your file is in the line at National Visa Center to receive an appointment date. You may contact the National Visa Center at NVCINQUIRY@STATE.GOV to inquire about the status of this file.
